Needed these to use for surgery and they did and still doing the job. Too lazy to switch back. I read reviews about the closure getting loose and it hasn’t happened to me. I sleep on my ear and still no issue.

You get exactly what you see in the pictures. The retainers are sturdy enough to do what they are supposed to do. I needed to use them for my daith piercing during a CAT scan and they stayed in well enough for that purpose.However, (and the reason for the 3 star rating) the balls at each end of the retainer pop off easily. They screw on but don't stay put. You can screw it on and then pull it right off without any effort. What's the point in having a screw on ball if it can be pulled off? And they are far too tiny to just grab a pair of tweezers and screw it back on. I ran into that problem since I had the retainer put in about 2 days before my scan. One of the balls fell off the next day but due to the position of my piercing my ear sort of held it in place. if I had a more straightforward piercing i think it would have likely fallen out.Technically they work. Just be prepared.

Works for me I bought these knowing I may not want to have all my earrings showing on my wedding day. They are nice and flexible only thing I’d note if you have new piercings the blood from them will stain the plastic a bit so they won’t stay clear. Wouldn’t recommend for new piercings

These did the job I needed. I was having surgery, unexpectedly, and had recently gotten new piercings in my lobes and helix. Since I didn’t want them to close up, I used these plastic placeholders. I left them in for a little over two weeks. One of the balls did break but the piercing was still secure so I left it alone. Not cute, by any means, but my piercings are now nicely healed and my surgery went as planned.

Love the amount you get for the price and the variety. They have some flex to them but not much, which doesn't matter to me. The ball screws on, but is not tight, but I have been wearing one for 3+ days (day and night) and it has not fallen off or out.

I use these for my Disney princess cosplays so that I can hide my piercings. They're pretty good quality. Very flexible and true to size. My only complaint is with the lip rings. The bars are very short which makes wearing them for more than just a few hours very very painful. The part that is on the inside of the lip digs into your lip and leaves it raw and painful for several days if left in too long (I had spent a long day at a con and basically went straight to bed after getting my cosplay off, so I wore these for several hours during the day and then all night while I slept)The horseshoes are decent quality as well. My only complaint is that the threads are a bit rougher than I'm used to, so they felt really weird when being put in and when taking them out.Just make sure to change out of these ASAP to avoid any issues :)

Not the best quality, but does the job to have an mri done, and surgery.
