I wanted to test a tap style water filter to see whether it would change the taste of my water. I already have a countertop RO system, but I don't use it for drinking water. My apartment has terrible tasting tap water, and I don't trust it. After filtering it through the RO system, it still had a mild chlorine taste that I just can't drink. It even makes coffee taste strange. I filtered the water through this tap water filter then ran it through the RO System and it wasn't bad. It seemed to remove whatever was making the water taste bad. I am hoping that this will help cut back the need to buy bottled water.

This water filter is great! It was easy to put on, doesn't leak, comes with two filters, and I like how it looks. I love that it has a blue LED light that glows when the filter is on. One of the best features is the life of the filter! Just run your thumb across the front when the filter is on and it will shows how long the filter has left. That's a unique addition, in my opinion at least. It works really well, water tastes better, and it's better than unfiltered water when cleaning off veggies and fruit. I really like it!

I've been looking for one of these that has the UV for so long! This one is well made, easy to use and works great. My water is clear and no longer has that well water scent or taste! The replacement filters are also a pretty reasonable so I can change it out every 60 days or so.

I haven't used a water filter on my tap in years. They tend to be expensive to maintain, so I usually hit a point when I'm trying to cut back and this is an easy target. So, when this unit came up on my order list (as a Vine reviewer), I decided it would be nice to try one of these out again.I had forgotten how much of a difference filters can make in the taste of tap water - transforming it into something that seems to have been gathered in some mountain spring and bottles for a ridiculous markup at your local grocery store. Knowing that it is also filtering out many potentially harmful impurities is an added bonus and one that I appreciate after endless articles about PFAS and led contamination.The unit comes with spare filters and an display that clearly indicates when it is time to switch out your filter. I also like the hydro-powered LED UV light for additional sterilization of anything that might sneak passed the filter stage.Overall, I am very happy with this product and, if the lifecycle of the filters live up to the 3-6 months claimed in the listing, I might even stick with it this time.

Really neat with the blue light, No restrictions with water flow, Simple to mount to faucet. The only downside to this filter is that it only produces 260 gallons of filtration and that means if you use this often you will be replacing the filters more frequently. So I mainly use this to wash fruits and to boil water.Replacement filters are $20 for a 2 pack. Each filter last for about 260 gallons of filtration.https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0DNT7T6HG

The water filter is professionally engineered with sturdy and durable metal and plastic components. Once you understand the directions (print is small), it is easy to assemble and fit to your faucet. It does not leak and increases the water pressure coming out of the faucet. Switching from regular tap water to filtered water is easily done with a sliding side lever. It has an LED light display that shows the life stage of the filter, letting you know when it should be replaced. I did notice a somewhat difference in taste between regular tap water and filtered water. The Filter Assembly is a quality product for a very reasonable price. I will periodically test the water to verify its filtered state.

I generally don't do tap water because it just has a strange taste, however I can definitely notice a difference between normal tap water and water filtered through this. It really does remove most of the "tappy" taste. I am impressed!
