Works great so far. Was easy to install myself, minus the tight space I had to jam it into, but that's the furnaces fault. Is nice to have heat again. Just aheads up, this is an aftermarket piece and not from the original manufacturer.

My father's 15 year old furnace broke down last month owing to a faulty draft inducer blower. After the furnace repair person and the furnace company were unable or unwilling to source replacement parts for the furnace, I decided to google the part number for the piece in question. I was surprised and delighted to find this blower available on Amazon. The blower shipped for free and a few days later the furnace repair person had the piece installed and running in under an hour. My parents couldn't be happier as they would have had to replace the furnace if a replacement blower couldn't be sourced. As far as I can tell, it's the exact same piece as the faulty blower it is replacing (same brand and model number).

Not what you see in the picture. What comes is an all metal housing that looks different and will not fit what this pictured unit would fit.

I bought this to replace my bad inducer motor on my furnace. After some research to make sure this was the correct part I placed the order. Install took about 20 minutes (3 bolts, two screws, and a few hoses). As another reviewer noted, this does not ship with the gasket that fits between the blower and the furnace, but I was able to re-use my existing gasket.A couple of days after I installed the motor it stopped working (along with my furance). The motor was getting warm but not spinning. I decided that I either recieved a faulty unit or that there was another problem with my furnace causing the blowers to fail. Either way I'd need a new blower, so I ordered a second one.When the second arrived I removed the old blower and heard something rattling inside the squirrel fan case. I dug around with my fingers and found a small piece of black plastic (see photo) that must have become lodged in the fan causing it not to run. After I removed the broken plastic piece the fan turned easily. I re-installed the blower and everything has since been working as it should.
