Finally decided to snag one of these, been putting it off as a "get it tomorrow" thing for the past 6 years hah, Was doing the ol wet paper towel wipe before but needless to say this is much MUCH better, and easier, and safer, and much neater/contained. Definitely getting a total of the 5 sponges/balls/wools/whatever you wish to call them is probably a lifetime supply for somebody who only occasionally solders and does DIY repairs.

I use my soldering iron in paracord crafts and it can get stuff on the tip, this takes care of that problem. It looks nice too.
