This tool does work but if the roll pin is tight, you may get one use out of it. I'm on my third or fourth tool now. The material it's made from is cheap and light weight. The pin end of the tool breaks or gets pushed inside the threaded section of the tool if the pin is tight. The concept is great but it is just so cheaply made.

During first it immediately bent. Had to use a roll pin punch, instead and was able to lightly tap the pin out with a tack hammer instead.

Worked great for a really stuck rollpin. Was sturdy and got the pin out. I had to use pliers to spin the handle, this pin was so stuck. Tool pushed out the pin no problem and did not break like some reviews said it would. Noticed the old version had a plastic handle (like pictured) but I received a new one with a metal handle. That might be why those reviews exist. This saved me a ton of headache with this stuck pin and survived to help me again in the future. Definitely worth every penny.

This thing is practically plastic. The drive pin broke off before my roll pin pushed all the way out. The design is poor because the first part of the pin goes into the roll pin and expands it, making it harder to push out. The guy at the parts store described it best when he called it a "throw away tool".

I used this to push out a roll pin on my clutch master cylinder. It worked flawlessly and in turn punched it back in when I was ready
