Takes a little time to string the netting for all the parts, but the end result is great. My son loves it and spends at least an hour every morning taking shots and working on his aim. I don't need to fold it up, but its pretty simple to do and easy to my by yourself. not too heavy at all but very sturdy and solid.

This Net is sweet. Me and my 8 buds are in college and we have a house with the perfect space so we thought: why not? So we fired on this EZ Goal and to say the least - we are thrilled. First off it was like 20 bucks a head, betwixt 8, so the price is reasonable. Even if you're just buying this for your kid, don't worry cuz this bad boy is rippin for like 5+ years if you're not like McJesus or somethin'. Second off, pipes are mad sturdy mates... If you rip like me n the boys, you might get a couple nicks, but those build character eh? Only better nets than this one are made for actual ice hockey (pro level) and probably cost like 500 dustin johnnys or higher. Assembly: cake. Built this hoss in like 30 minutes cuz the boys were juiced to send clap bombs on 'er. Good Value on this beaut overall, good men approve, score: 9.67/10.00

Great net, ball never goes on the road. Keeps my son busy for hours. What we don't like about it he never wants to come inside. He stays out until the street lights come on. No complaints at all. Best gift he got for his birthday.

I purchased this goal based upon the needs of our setup. We needed a goal with a shooter tutor and additional protection for pucks that go astray.Positives:-price-Construction is good.-Shooter tutor is sturdy and has the normal targets for all areas.-additional netting for sides and top helps protect against stray shots-folds well for storage.Cons:-PAIN IN THE REAR to put together. Took about 4 hours.-Instructions are not very good.-Not enough string to sufficiently tie the entire netting. I purchased additional twine in order to cover the entire product.Verdict:Best net out there for the price and protects stray shots. Instructions are not very good. Hopefully the manufacture updates them in the future.

Update 12/20/21: This goal has been in our back year for more than 3 years, through Chicago seasons and it’s holding up extremely well. My son was just using it today. The “rope” used the thread the net onto the frame did dry out and become brittle, so we replaced with it with a nylon cord that has held up well. Other than that, it’s doing great. One of our better purchases!March 2018: This arrived yesterday and my son was very excited to have me put it together.I was surprised by the weight (heavy) and size (pretty small) of the box. It took me about 4 hours working by myself to put everything together including attaching the corner targets and shooter tutor. It wasn't necessarily difficult, but was time consuming. The longest part was threading the netting around the goal and side panels. The directions aren't great, but if you lay everything out ahead of time and follow the diagrams, it all makes sense. One other reviewer suggested using zip ties to hold the nets in place while attaching them to the frames. This was a helpful suggestion that I second. For the price, the product seems to be extremely well made. The steel frame feels solid, the netting is thick, and the pieces fit together well. All in all, this appears to be a great value. I anticipate this will get a lot of use over the coming years.

I bought this net for my little brother and didn’t realize how big (and heavy) it would be, but it is a very sturdy net and he absolutely loves it. The material of the Velcro goalie is very strong and we’re quite impressed with it.

The best of the best for ALL Ages! The only Con is the easy but rather lengthy installation process. Once assembled, you will be assured that hard work pays off. Initially, I only bought the net by itself and it was so good that this time I had to buy the whole thing. Now, I am no longer skeptical about aiming for the corners since the backstops really put themselves to work. The goal is very strong but with some heavy shots the net will eventually wear out. I strongly recommend that you get some zip ties to go along with this for ease of installation. Frame assembly takes about 5-10 minutes while the net can take about a couple hours. Corner pockets attach with hooks and the shooter tutor can be strapped on with Velcro.

Son loves it! The practice has really improved his game. He has scored every game since he started practicing with this net. He is motivated to practice (I think he like the picture of the goalie honestly). He was a good player, but about 4th on his team in goals. Now he is second at the end of the season. The gains have occurred since he started practicing with this net. We have it set up in the garage, so if he has a few minutes before school, or before he goes to bed, he goes out and stick handles and shoots.Pros*Large enough net to keep the puck from constantly slamming against our garage wall*Pucks don't get lost in storage boxes, under shelving, etc.*The hockey player tarp (I don't know what to call it), really helps in training. My son has improved tremendously now that he is working targeted zones of the goal.*It fits in our small barely 2-car garage easily. We just pull out the car and he can practice.*Goalie tarp is easy enough for my sone to take it completely or partially off, if he needs to. He is a young teen, but I would think any child over 10-11 could do this.Cons:*Difficult to put together. My husband spent about four-five hours.*The left and right side net poles could use some reinforcement where they attach to the goal. They are steady during practice, but the unit isn't really meant to be moved. We are a little concerned that repeated pulling on the left or right supports will really weaken the connection to the goal. We move by holding onto the goal itself, rather than the sides. (this is why I took off one star)*I would not leave it outside. It is still in excellent condition after a few months, but it is in the garage. I believe it would eventually rust outside.Even with the cons, I would buy it again in a heartbeat. It has probably been the best gift we have given our son in a long time. He gets a lot of use out of it and really enjoys it.UPDATE: A Christmas later... It is in super shape. Son still uses it daily. In fact he is practicing for an all-star game now. Great product, still helping my player train!
