I certainly love to restore tools. As so many of them were made so much better back then. I have a bench grinder that I use to polish metal and plastic and whatever else needs shining but it has a 5/8" arbor but it's not a problem. I got myself some plastic bushings to take up the slack and they work just fine. Pictured above is a Stanley Planer from the early 1900s.
