They work great my son lives with Autism and he is learning how to cook. The mitts give him the all around protection he needs to stay safe from any possibility of getting burnt. Good material very high up the arms and wide fit

These long silicone oven mitts are a game-changer in my kitchen! I've always struggled with regular oven mitts being too short, leaving my wrists and forearms vulnerable to burns, especially when reaching into a hot oven or pulling out large dishes. These long mitts solve that problem completely. They extend well up my arms, providing excellent protection.The silicone material is fantastic. It's truly heat-resistant – I can confidently grab hot pans and dishes without feeling any heat. Plus, the silicone is waterproof and easy to clean. No more stained and smelly oven mitts! A quick wipe with soap and water, and they're good as new. They also have a good grip, so I feel secure handling even heavy or awkward dishes.Another bonus is the flexibility. While they're long, they're not bulky or stiff. I can still easily grip and maneuver hot items. They're also comfortable to wear.My only minor complaint is that the inside lining can sometimes feel a little warm after holding something really hot for an extended period. It's not a burn, but noticeable. However, this is a small price to pay for the superior protection and convenience these mitts offer.Overall, I highly recommend these long silicone oven mitts. They're a great investment for any home cook and have made my cooking experience much safer and more enjoyable. We have a rational oven in our Kitchen at church. When reaching into this oven I have burn my arm multiple times up next to my elbow b/c the oven is that deep. Using these gloves I haven’t burnt my hands or arms. YAY

I bought these for my sister because she was always burning her arms using shorter mitts. It took a bit for them to arrive, but the wait was apparently worth it because she loves them and raves about how nice they are: long, thick and work perfectly for taking things out of the oven. I highly recommend them and will buy these again!

I have a bad tendency to burn my upper forearm when reaching into the oven. It finally occurred to me that they might make gloves that come up over the forearms. I did some research and picked these. These are great! No more burns. Also, these are sturdy, heavy duty and will, I'm sure, prove very durable. Great product.One point, though. I am a woman and I have fairly large hands compared to most women I know. My forearm is about 9 inches and my hand is about 6 1/2 inches long (base of palm to end of longest finger) and 3 inches wide at the palm. These gloves are huge on my hands. So if you're a woman with regular size or small hands, try a different product. I have to be careful to get a good hold of whatever I'm trying to pick up because of all the excess fabric around my hands so I don't drop anything. I tried pulling the gloves higher, but the fabric bunched at my elbow. Tried folding it over at the top, but then the glove slipped down.Despite all that, when I use these things, I can grab and hold on fine, I just have to make sure I have a good grip despite all the excess on my hands. And I don't have to worry about my forearms getting burned any more. I considered sending these back, but they are so heavy duty and well made, that I just worked with them a bit and found that it's fine.Just be aware, if you have small hands, you may have trouble grabbing. Medium to large hands, these are fantastic!!

I use the oven all the time and these are the best. They go to my elbow. Completely heat resistant. Fit wonderfully. You will never feel any heat or get burned from the oven with these gloves on. It took a while for the gloves to arrive, but worth the wait! Excellent product.

I recently spilled hot grease on my forearm, while taking a pan of bacon out of the oven. Needless to say, 2nd degree burns aren't desirable... I immediately went searching for something to prevent this in the future, and these were just what the doctor ordered! Silicone on the hands, and heavy duty cloth (feels similar to duck cloth) covering the wrists, all the way to my elbows. I can't speak to how they will hold up over time yet, but so far, they are great.

I bought these gloves to stop burning my hands when taking things out of the oven. and i gotta say theyre quite effective at doing that and i havent been burned since i got these gloves.

They're long enough to protect forearms from hot oven racks! Good material and easy to clean aka no fabrics on the outside surface.
