I had tried to pipe cookies with what I thought was a large tip. Epic fail. These are large enough to pass cookie dough and work very well. The bags could be larger but are perfectly functional.

I don't think this item was designed for stuffing manicotti, but it worked like a charm! Before I purchased this, a week ago I stuffed 28 by hand with an iced tea spoon, which is the way I've been doing it for 40+ years. It had been awhile and it just didn't go smoothly, took a long time, and caused me to say some swear words. Since I was making this same dish for Christmas dinner, I took a chance and ordered these. They were the biggest ones I could find, and I hit the jackpot! I stuffed 21 manicotti today in about 1/3 the time it took me last week and it was an even fill all the way through the pasta! The pastry bag had to be refilled several times with the cheese mixture, but other than that, it all went smoothly. I think these are designed to decorate cakes, cupcakes and pastry items, but if you like to make manicotti, BUY THESE! You won't be sorry and you won't swear! I highly recommend. I had almost decided to never make manicotti again, but after this experience, I will be making them again, thanks to these nifty tips and bags! Highly recommend!
