The upgrade to a metal buckle is a welcome one. I feel a lot more comfortable taking them now. I am a 2XL person currently and it fits me. My child is 6 and fits them well. The hand holds are a nice touch. Not cheap but seems very well constructed (as you'd want for your child).It just takes a little practice to have them mount the bike with the harness on and then clipping them in. Don't try and do it before they are on the bike but make sure they have the harness on first.A solid 5 stars from me.

I am tall and big guy, and I accidentally put the kid's harness portion onto my rather large chest. It fit me, but I felt that there should have been more space. Until I realized that I was wearing it wrong - lol. The adult part is very generous in dimensions, and was a perfect fit. Metal buckles add to safety and ease your mind.For the lack of a better word, this is really not a 'safety' harness in the traditional sense, which is also explained on their warning labels. It adds stability and keeps the passenger in place if the kid is getting adventurous and leans right and left and might potentially fall off.One important issue is that the rider must put the kid's harness part first, then mount the motorcycle, and the kid must independently be able to mount the motorcycle's passenger seat. Then, the seated adult will strap her/his part of the harness on.So, this is definitely not for a child at an age that needs assistance climbing onto the motorcycle, unless one has a third person helping. I wasn't fully aware of this, in particular since this is described as an 'all ages' belt.My kid loves speed and riding with dad, but is and will not be able to mount the passenger seat without help. So, this is not really for all ages unless there is a third person's help involved.In any case, the product is definitely great to stabilize the seating of a kid. It would not help in an accident since the adult and kid will be strapped together, which is a bit of a disconcerting thought.

My 5 year old is too big to sit in front on my motorcycle so without a device like this there would be no way she could ride with me. It fits us both and I feel very safe knowing she isn't going to fall off. She really likes the side handles to hang onto as I am a little big for her to get her hands around. Also note that we only do in town riding with nothing high speed or high traffic areas. This product is good to give you a little piece of mind when a rider cannot reach the rear foot pegs and give them the chance to see if they enjoy riding. In other words, it's a step in piloting their own motorcycle or becoming a good passenger in the future. The product seems well made and tested for functionality before going into production. I would recommend this anyone I know as a decent product.

I plan to adjust this to fit our 65 pound golden doodle and strap her to myself so she and I can ride on the back of my husband’s motorcycle. I’m not sure how well it will work, but I’ll post an update at another time.I can say this has surpassed any expectations that I had. The buckles are unbreakable. I think they look childproof, at least for a very young child. The material and the craftsmanship are strong and secure. I think this is a great choice for a child harness.
