Believe it or not, my husband asked me to get this. Probably because I refuse to dust all his collectables. This reminds me of the duster my mother had 50 years ago - with the exception that now they have telescopic handles which makes these perfect. I have other telescopic dusters that are firmer and I prefer this to those. This does a nice job getting rid of the dust and reaching those hard to reach places and best of all, this is gentler on the delicate items. I would buy this again!

Be prepared to be disgusted by how much dust is in the upper corners of your house! This is super effective; for some reason more-so than microfiber or other materials. The manual says it's the natural static electricity in ostrich feathers. I can definitely attest to that. It picks up everything without really wiping hard. I love the telescopic handle and how long it is. It's so long my little kids can use it to clean the ceiling, and they are loving it! The manual said you can just rinse it under water and let it air-dry. I did that and it lost some of its fluffiness, but it was still effective.

I've been fond of using ostrich feather dusters for almost 50 years now, long before microfiber items or Swiffers were invented, so I like to stick with what I know works well when dusting! What makes this duster different from almost all others is the fact that the handle is stainless steel AND expands to make this duster around 4 feet long! That lets you dust all sorts of things in the house that previously you had to get on a stepstool to reach with a regular duster, like spider webs on the ceiling or the ceiling fan! I like to dampen mine with just a touch of water to let the dust adhere better to the feathers. And when the feathers are dusty, it is easy to rinse off the duster under water and air dry to use again, over and over! I could wish that the feathers were longer and fluffier, but even so, this duster really makes my job easier when cleaning, especially when dealing with objects at ceiling level! Try it, you will like it!
