I have been restoring VWs for 43 years. The center of this gasket blew out immediately as did the original asbestos, (not steel-backed) that came with my EMPI 1-1/2 inch header. Some EMPI products are not suitable for sale.

At glance and by design a great product. Really liked how they where made and the material used to make them. Hands down top quality!! However, use them I could not as the stud holes did not line up. I'm sure I could've slotted the holes and been just fine. I didn't as I had another set of gaskets on hand.
