I bought one of these after researching these types of products extensively. This seemed to be the best one out there so I went with it.I have a pacemaker/defibrillator and am an active martial arts instructor. I just recently had my device changed and needed to get something to protect while it was healing. The removable pad is harder plastic that expected and is very uncomfortable.The plastic insert does not sit in a position to cover a pacemaker. In fact, it covers only a small portion and it would dig into the device when worn.I do like the material and might try to fashion my own insert that gives adequate coverage and protection.I will say that this would be good heart coverage and protection for baseball, that's about it. I also play hockey and there's no way you could wear this while playing.They have the right idea and there are not a lot of products out there to protect a pacer. I wish this was what I was looking for.
