I actually like this motor quite a bit, my main issue is the crazy price Evike sells these for.I run this motor in a heavily customized Lancer Tactical shell (don’t buy Lancers, kids, they’re not good stock), using an SHS 13:1 gearset and an M130 spring. Nothing is shortstroked, so the motor is bearing the full strength of the spring, and I get 35 RPS on an appropriately strong 11.1v battery.Your Matrix LiPos and your Titan Li-ions will NOT run this motor properly, but it really does have good performance when paired with an appropriate power source.The pinion gear meshes pretty well with the SHS bevel.This motor does run a bit hotter than I would like, but it’s not a big issue, and should really be expected running a 30K motor in my style of setup. I’m typically using active braking and binary trigger with the motor, so you can imagine.The issue is that $60 will get you very close to the price of a Tienly, which are exceptional motors, and simply better all around.For this motor, I would pay around $30 or a bit more and be satisfied. For the $40 I paid for mine, I’m happy.
