This is a great bit for cutting extremely fine details on sign lettering. It also works well when cutting elaborate images with fine details such as pine needles and grasses on outdoor scenes.Be very careful handling the bit as it has a very fine point and is exceptionally sharp. Also, when setting the Z origin on your CNC, lower the bit slowly and use a sheet of paper to set the bit position on the material. If you use a standard Z-Probe tool with a metal base, you could break the tip of the bit because it is so fine. Use the manual method and you will be much happier.Excellent results achieved using this bit on fine detail work.

This is a very sharp router blade. This is the smallest angle I've used on my CNC, which was intimidating at first; however, this bit includes very good instructions for setup, and I had no issue using.I use an Inventables X carve, no issues using this router bit in my setup. Well packaged and sharp bit.

This is an ULTRA high quality CNC/router bit on a 1/4" shank. It is VERY sharp right out of packaging (which is a reusable case by the way). It's a 30 degree signmaking bit that I'm particularly using for my CNC. Works great, very resilient, and although somewhat pricey, MUCH better than standard bits that'll you'll have to end up replacing again so you end up saving money and producing a much better outcome. HIGHLY RECOMMEND...

I'm new to routers and router bits but this feels like a quality product. Not sure if this is specifically designed for a CNC machine but I attached it to my hand held router and it cut through the wood like butter. A bit tough to guide through the wood.

I make wooden signs with my CNC and palm router. These sign-making bits are good for both pieces of equipment.Nice quality, sturdy, and you can’t go wrong with a 1/4” shank.

Very impressed with this V-bit. Very sharp, quality seems great and includes the dimensions and chip load to calculate feed rate. For VCarve, the angle is the Included Angle, so for this 15 degree bit, you would enter 30 degrees.

I own many different brands of CNC bits and Aoranto by far has the best packaging, mainly because it includes a paper that lists the specs for feeds and speeds of all their bits. Super convenient and to me, adding that says a lot about the company wanting to make sure their customers have a good experience with their products. This bit is very sharp and the added coating will certainly help with the durability. The price point is competitive and fair for the quality.I've only been able to use it for a quick carve but the results were great. Will update my review if anything about my expectations of it changes, but I'd be surprised if that happens. The only thing about this bit I would like some clarity on is whether or not the shank is solid. Not being able to find that anywhere leads to believe it's not solid, either way it's not a huge deal since carving bits rarely endure a lot of stress.

I think this bit looks much more fragile than what it really is as long as you are careful. It comes with detailed specifications on rate of feed vs. type of material, rotation speed, etc. I have used it to make very small script engravings in hardwood. Do be careful when handling. It is easy to stab yourself when inserting into a collet and I'm guessing that the needle point would not survive a drop onto a hard surface.
