The Presets

The Nova Go Sonic electric guitar comes with 4 onboard presets: Clean, Overdrive, Crunch, and Lead. Each preset is customizable through the ENYA MUSIC APP. These 4 presets can be amplified by the onboard speaker. Meanwhile, they can also be accessed, when the guitar is plugged into an amp or PA. It's like we've built an effects processor into the guitar. Think about how much convenience it will bring to small performance and busking gigs.

The I/O Ports

Nova Go Sonic features a 6.35mm output jack for standard instrument cables, allowing you to connect the guitar to amplifiers, PA systems, and interfaces. Additionally, it includes a 3.5mm headphone output jack for silent practice sessions. The USB Type-C port serves dual purposes: charging the guitar and enabling OTG recording. With OTG, you can capture everything played on the guitar, including presets and backing tracks, for seamless recording sessions.

Weight in the hands: Heavier than I thought, feels very solidSound on the built in amp: Very nice! Sounds like a decent amp, built right in.Sound off the built in amp: Haven't tested yet - this was bought specifically because of the built in ampLooks: GREAT! I really love the look and feel of this guitar.Battery life: I'm told 6-8 hours from a full charge. Haven't tested it personally.Setup: Install an app, push a few buttons. A few choices, enough to do the job.My husband has had this guitar everywhere in our home and outside of it as well since it arrived. It's beautiful, sounds fantastic, and it's brought us both a lot of joy. Our home was devastated by a hurricane last year and we lost a lot of music equipment. It's been hard for him to play in the way he likes as a result. To give some back story, he's been wanting a nice guitar with a built in amp for years. The only one we could find was about 2k in California. Then he saw ads for this, we did some investigation and research, and bought this one. It's about 25% of the price and he absolutely loves it. We may add some other Enya guitars to his collection in the future, since he found out one of them has a built in looper. Of course, they could just give us a looper in the app for this one and that would be fantastic. But yes, we're happy with the purchase. My husband gives it a 5/5 star review.

ギターを触って半年程度の初心者です。同じenyaのNEXG 2も購入していて、今回買い足しをしましたので、比較含めてレビューです。＜気に入っている点＞☆手軽さアンプ・エフェクター内蔵なので電源オンすればすぐ使えます。○デザイン性「SHIN」エディションは柄物好きな人には刺さるはず…（小林信一さんは今回初めて知りました）。専用の化粧箱も付いてくるのは特別感・高級感があって嬉しいです。あと、表面は3Dプリンターで作成したようなざらつきですが、安っぽさはありません。○拡張性PCにUSBで接続すればギターのスピーカーをPCの外付けスピーカーにできるのと、ギターの音をPCに入力できます。また、アプリと接続して音をいじれます。出張や転勤が多く、荷物を増やしにくい身分なのと面倒くさがりなので、ギターだけあれば遊べるのは非常に嬉しいです。出力は10Wと大きくないので、しっかりと弾くには別途アンプやスピーカーは必須になるかと思います。ヘッドホンで練習していても、物足りなさを感じるレベルです。＜NEXG 2との比較＞ロック好きなのにあまりにもギターを知らな過ぎて、エレアコのNEXG 2を先に買ってしまいましたので比較です。NEXG 2との違いは、「(当たり前ですが)音」と「ギター自体の機能性」です。上記の「手軽さ」と「拡張性」は両ギターともに、同等の利便性を備えています。●音の違いNEXG 2はあくまでエレアコなので、弦の音を感じる、ボロロンとしたアコースティックギターの音になります。内臓アプリに入っているエフェクターの項目を触るだけでもエレキギターっぽい音も作れますし、別途エフェクターに接続してやればエレキギターとしても十分遊べるかと思います。ただしNOVA GO Sonicを触ってみて、enyaはNEXG 2のアコースティックギターとしての特性を大切にしていると改めて感じました。ロックを弾きたい人は最初からNOVA GO Sonicを買った方が気楽だと思います。あと、NEXG 2はスピーカーの容量が大きいため、単体でも人前で演奏できるだけの音が出ます。●拡張性一番の違いで、NEXG 2は内臓されている機能が非常に多いです。チューナー、ドラムマシン、保存できるエフェクト数、Bluetooth接続など…NEXG 2は配信や弾き語り、ライブといった遊び方を、それ1台だけで「今どきのツールと連携した上で」行える拡張性があります。また、アプリでいじれる音の項目もNEXG 2の方が若干多いです（エフェクターの数が1.5倍くらい）。NOVA GO Sonicは一人で演奏するときに手軽というのは変わりませんが、上記の遊び方をする時に別途機材を選ぶ必要がありますし、通常のエレキギターの域を出ていないと感じました。そういう意味で、コスパを見ればNEXG 2の方が高いのではと思っています。＜結論＞ロックを演奏したい人はNOVA Go Sonicを選んだ方が良かった・・・というのが、自分の反省も含めた結論です。それ以外の幅広い音楽ジャンルを楽しみたい人はNEXG 2がおすすめです。どちらも買って満足できる、素敵なギターだと感じています。

Just want to say this thing is amazing. My fingers hurt because i cant put it down.Its light and all around feels very good to play. I have a few nice guitars, multi fx pedal and a marshal half stack and find im playing this guitar more then any one of them.I had some string buzz, contacted the manufacturer and they walked me through fixing it.I highly recomend this brand and company. They really do love their product and stand behind it 100%.The speakers sound pretty good. If you get feedback, in the app that pairs to the guitar there is a mixer option that lets u increase or decrease the volume that will fix the feed back.The app itself is pretty straight forward and ive made some pretty good metal tones from it. Only thing i can say about the app is id like more options for cabinets, pedals etc. But for it being a free app. I cant complain at all since i have come up with some pretty cool tones.1 of my favorite things is you can save tones to the button in certain orders. When i play bucketheads soothsayer i start with a cleanish tone for the start, slap the button to a metal tone and slay the next part in distortion. I 100% prefer it to stomping a foot pedal.You can play backing tracks from spotify thru the speakers and play along with songs. I dont do this often but when i did it was actually a blast.Ive hung mine above my couch. Might have been a mistake because i cant keep my hands off it but it really is the perfect little lay back and jam couch guitar with no cords or mess. Just pick up and play.Almost forgot to mention plugging headphones into this is insane. Sounds sooo good. I got a cheap pair of over ear headphones and am still in shock at just how good it sounds through them.Overall this product is great! I do feel sorry for my poor little fingers as i cant put this guitar down but If you are on the fence about getting 1 of these, i promise it is worth it and more.Even without the fancy gimmicks that sold me on this. If it had no speaker, if it had no built in multi fx and stayed this price. I would still be rocking this thing thru my pedals and amp over my other guitars because it just feels that good.

Enya Electric Guitar Nova Go review by Charles Parkerson9/30/2024This is an amazing guitar for the right person. In short, I feel that it is entry level in nature but crafted like a guitar costing much much more. It is very refreshing to see this kind of instrument available. I am a 72 year old and have been playing guitar since 1964. This is my third purchase from Enya. I have a substantial collection of guitars and amps accumulated during my years of playing both personally and professionally.• The neck is perfect, the frets are flawless, better than Squier Affinity ($250.00) and Gibson!• The pickups are adequate for the guitars price point. The split coil function is great!• All switches and pots are apparently high quality and are very smooth and solid feeling.• I have yet to plug into an amp because I feel that would defeat the purpose.• The tuning keys are better than most Asian guitars. I am very happy with them.• The sounds are impressive for players in the beginning and semi-intermediate stages.• I got it in white and it is beautiful. My wife wants to hang it on the wall in the den.As you know, your main sonic competition are the Fender modelling amps with their internet support. I know that you will continually seek to improve and expand your target market to include seasoned players. In short, I think every beginner should have this model and I intend to recommend it to every beginner I encounter and to anyone who asks. Hopefully there will be an upgraded (understandably more expensive) version to offer to skilled players. I will tell others that this guitar should not be “left in the car” as many reviewers have stated. A beginner may not understand that sensitive electronics are susceptible to heat damage much like cell phones.I will have to return the guitar because I probably will not use it much only because of my background, This does not in any case reflect the quality of this instrument. I will probably end up with one of your acoustic guitars (which you CAN leave in the car).Recommendations:• Consider a joint venture with Bose. The sound difference would be immense. I’m sure the price would skyrocket.• The gig bag is great but not as good as the ½ size acoustic I got from you, but it’s fine.• Continue to improve on website for tone changes. This generation is adept with all things internet, but these are guitar players! The most beautifully irresponsible group bless them.Thank You,Charles Parkerson

As an electric guitar, it's pretty decent. Lightweight, ergonomic, seems sturdy and reliable. It came setup pretty nicely out of the box, good action, good intonation, mostly in tune (given it was transported and changed climate surely). Playable out of the box. The pickups sound fine, frets are fine, zero nut is nice to have. No complaints on it as a guitar.But the party gimmick, built-in modeler and tuner, is AWESOME!Don't get me wrong - this will *not* replace dedicated pedals and amps. The modeller is very basic, and the effects don't sound great; reverb is fine-ish, distortion and drive are OK, delay is meh at best. The speaker can resonate at certain frequencies and feedbacks like crazy. Overall, it doesn't exactly sound like professional setup :-)But who cares! That's not what it's for! What it's for is that you can take this guitar outside of your studio, pick it up on the couch, bedroom, porch, park, cottage, picnic, backyard, *wherever*, and play an electric guitar without any other bits and pieces and cables and power and headphones and so on. It is LIBERATING and an absolute joy to play.If you're experienced, this will not replace your setup even a little bit, but it's a great addition with great freedom of movement.If you're a beginner, I honestly think this is not a bad way to start. As an electric guitar, it's perfectly fine, so the built-in modeller and speaker are just a very nice convenient extra bonus, and it WILL encourage you to play and learn :)

Love this guitar! I have been playing guitar for more than 20 years and have several guitars but this one is great for take and go. Would be perfect for a beginner also. Surprised by the quality vs price.
