Tips for CNC engraving:

1. Carefully consider bit type for your project. Select bit according to the individual requirements.

2. Control the speed. The cutting speed (spinning speed and feeding speed) shouldn’t be set too fast to minimize resistance in high-speed milling.

3. Carefully consider bit length or blade length.

4. Even the best CNC bit could break, there is probably an issue with the carving settings, such as the raid and motor precision, plate material hardness or fixture issues.

5. Check the setting before run; such as X, Y, Z coordinates. Slight error can lead to inaccurate cutting.

6. Always wear safety protection, and cut the power before handle the bit in an off the machine.

Very useful set of engraving bits with varied diameters of blunt tips. They are well made with smooth, polished shanks that have information engraved. The cutting tips have a blue protective coating (the efficacy of which is unclear to me at present) and sharp flutes. The bits look as described. Will update after use.

I recently started using the Engraving Bits CNC Wood Carving Router Bit Set for some detailed woodworking projects, and they have been fantastic.
