Installation Instruction:
- Turn off and cool down the car, disconnect the drain line, remove the retaining bolts and swap in the new reservoir tank.
- Allow the remaining coolant to flow back into the drain pan.
- Replace the new reservoir tank and reinstall the coolant hose to the radiator and tighten the clamp.
- Finally check if function well.

This coolant tank is a perfect match for a 2017 Chevy Trax. After several issues with caps, cracks and leaking this tank has held up with no issues. There are several different kinds on the market with the same part number but this tank is the first out of 3 that not only looks like the OEM but provides correct pressure and after a month of use I have had no issues with any other coolant parts. The cost is much lower than a dealer and install is extremely easy and fast. The cap is included but that is it, the bolts and hoses will need to purchased separately if needed. The hanging tab fit perfectly and the old bolts secured tightly. Overall for the cost and quality this tank is the only to buy don't regret getting the cheaper ones.

The coolant reservoir is well-designed and made out of quality material. The return nipple, which is often where the failure of the coolant reservoir is, has a copper tube for reinforcement. The coolant reservoir comes with a filter cap to complete the replacement. This is a great-value coolant reservoir that is expected to last longer than the OEM one it replaced.

I ordered this on Monday. Received Tuesday at 4:00 PM. Installed and completed by 4:15! Simple, common sense installation. Everything snugs with zero leaks. Just make sure your hose clamps are snug. The original part is cheaply made. This is much better! You can’t beat the value, either. Autozone wants $70 for the same exact part.

The bottle itself works fine. The cap does not tighten down. It is cheaply made. If you purchase this bottle, you may want to replace the cap or reuse your old one.. would be five stars if the cap was of better quality that was usable
