This bushing kit came with more than I needed, as it also comes with tie rod and ball joint boots, but I was replacing both of those while I do this project in my 86 Vette. Note however that it does NOT come with sway bar bushings. It appears there's a variety of sizes available for my Vette, which I presume is why they don't include them with this kit.Almost all of these bushings are "split" bushings, meaning each half is inserted from each side of the arm, except for one, which had to be pressed in from one side. Grease it up and take your time, and it's not that difficult.I have two harbor freight presses. One is the "1-ton" which is just a mechanical arm that gives you some extra leverage, and I installed the metal sleeves using this, although a vice easily could have been used. It's just faster using the press pushing the arm down instead of cranking a handle around and around.I also have the HF 12-ton press, and that was used for the one bushing which had to be pressed all the way through. I'm sure I could have used my vice for this as well, but I'm getting practice with this press, as I'm also doing the ball joints!The only thing I haven't done yet is the differential carrier bushings. I'm going to go back and see if those will be relatively easy to get to and if they can be removed while in the car. I really don't want to remove the whole diff just for a couple of bushings, and they don't appear, at least, to be in too bad of shape.I still need a while alignment, but just a cursory drive tells me things are much better. I had some metal to metal "clunks" going on before due to the bushings being toast.I'm going to look up the sway bar bushings and get that done before an alignment is performed, as this will be easy to get to.

My '92 corvette rides like a dream now! Potholes will no longer upset the balance of the car. It used to want to switch lanes and bounce across the road with every hole or bump in the road. Not anymore!Definitely lubricate these heavily!!! I would recommend getting more lubricant than is supplied with these. All fit perfectly but you may get into trouble fitting some of these back in because these bushings will stick out further than the old ones which may be compressed over time or brittle. Don't worry though and DON'T cut them to make them fit anywhere. There is no need. Be patient. This only occurred for me on the rear control arm bushings.For the money, this is one of the best modifications you can do to your car! A lot of work but a LOT of reward.

I installed this kit myself onto my 1985 Corvette. This was very labor intensive but did not require any tools beyond what can be rented at a parts store. This kit really firmed up the car a lot and makes it more responsive on the road. I am extremely happy and felt that I got my money's worth out of this kit.

I ordered a set of these. $170.00 One should be able to get what they order. I bought a set of these from Amazon all the pictures they show of this product are Red, & that is the color I want. So when they arrived I opened my box and received Black ones. No problem I will contact Amazon & have the red one sent. Two weeks later, I have no bushings I did not get an exchange to the red ones, I sent them in per Amazons policy requesting the color change, They did refund my money minus shipping of course for there mistake. Numerous e-mails, several phone calls,no one can tell me or you what color you could end up with ? Even though they only show you the red ones & make no mention of color choices, in the entire add. It will cost you shipping every time they send you the wrong color. I still have not received what I paid for & the color I want. RED.
