I don’t know what this is made of but it’s very light and doesn’t seem anything like wood. It almost seems like a weird plastic. The paint job on it was also only 2/3 done. The front and sides were covered, but the top and back were not on both corbels. They look ok from the ground though so I’ll keep them I guess.

For the purpose i bought it, to hang fabric from a dowel rod, it will be fine. I painted them with acrylic paint which adhered fine. This wont be able to support much weight cuz of the holes and brackets cant be drilled through very deep. Recommend 5 pound max.

I loved the style and look, got lots of compliments but too pricey for the material, you have to handle them with care because they're made of a chalky light weight material hope they can handle weight like shelving over it.

I'd originally purchased 2 pieces from my curtain rod, but discovered the rod definitely needed a middle support. These look oh sooooooo beautiful now that they're installed. M y only suggestion is that the description should include the weight that these are rated to hold. I learned this with a call directly to Ekena, but I must not be the only buyer who needs this tidbit of information.

Didn't realize these were molded out of styrofoam.Purchased as curtain sconce and hoping they will hold the weight of my sheers.I'm adding extra coats of paint to hopefully add stability to them.Time will tell.Have these 3 stars due to the cheap material.
