This is a basic and simple label maker. It is quite useful in making basic labels. It works great for when I need to make labels for files. It has great adhesion and is good for my needs. I also like its cute shape and size. Pretty convenient and handy to have around.

This worked great a few times, but then it started having trouble with light strikes where it would miss letters entirely. When I attempted to fix it by readjusting the tape, the handle broke with barely any force. I'm a bit disappointed, though not at all surprised since my actual Dymo one did the same exact thing.

This is a great old school label maker. Keep in mind, it is a basic label maker and once you squeeze the trigger, the character is pressed into the plastic label strip tape, and that force deforms the plastic in the embossing process tand that in turn creates just enough heat to cause the contrast color substrate to press up through the colored overlay. Once formed, you cannot edit it. Get your spelling squared away before use. You need to apply the label to a clean smooth surface to get good adhesion or lay a clear laminate over it. The maker has a cut feature that creates a finger tab that allows you to easily peal off the backer tape that reveals the adhesive. This is a light duty unit, but worked fine in my testing including advancing blank tape between words and numbers.

This is the label maker you remember from the 80s and 90s. The same type used to label the helmets of the Dallas Cowboys. This comes with 3 rolls of black, 1 red, and 1 blue roll. Works like a charm!

The good thing about this is that you don't need to squeeze as hard as you used to for these things... The bad news is, the piece that the trigger pushes on to push the embosser down is plastic, and it ended up breaking after about ten labels.

I have an old Brother P Touch label printer and several new mini printers that rely on heat sensitive paper to print. I wanted a labeler that could stand up to the heat so I can store some boxes in the garage. I'd seen label makers like this when I was a kid but I'd never used one. It's actually pretty fun.Pay attention to the directions for cutting the label at the end. Rotate the ring to the scissors shape and pull the clicker but don't try to pull the label yet. Rotate the ring one click either way and it will release the label. The scissors cut and add a little notch to the end of the label so you can get the paper off the back to get to the sticky part.

This label maker is for use in my classroom for things that are too small to generate printed labels. The kids love to have their items marked with the 3D tape. The printed result is sharper than I recall on "old" versions. The tape is easy to load. I foresee an additional expense of printer tape, although it did come with six colored label cartridges. The label needs to be attached to something flat and solid. I tried attaching to cloth cubes and they did not adhere. Just like the predecessor, it is easy to make errors and only a couple of my kids will be able to use it. It also takes a firm grip to compress the handle for the clearest image. This is a good label maker for occasional use.

This has a good nostalgic feel, It is easy to use, but I wish the adhesive was a little stronger on the provided tapes. It seems to come off easy. When using it I found I needed to put a space before I typed the words or it would sometimes hang up and not actually advance like it should.
