In UK the JD part is nearly $500 and even aftermarket works out about $300 so this was a bargain including shipping and duty. Side by side with the original with the original part on my L145 there are few differences. The main pully is fractionally smaller (negligable) and the D spacer sits proud of the pully whereas the original is more recessed. In all other respects it looks identical and fitting it was a breeze. It works well and I now realise that the old unit must have been on the way out for a long time, mainly as a result of bearing failure. I don't know how long this unit will last but I can replace it three times before hitting the price of a JD part. It looks like a well made unit.
