I looked for a good budget e bike for a long time, just getting back to riding around town, living in a rural town. Most of these cheap e bikes are not meant to last a long time. My first impression is that this was a good purchase. The bike is very heavy like 80 lbs with the battery, luckily I have a pickup to haul it around. If you follow the directions they send you it can be easily assembled. Note: do not use the hex tools they send you, use a better brand as the cheap ones they send u don't work that well, I used my dewalt ones and they tightened all the bolts fine. There was a minor scratch on the led display when it arrived but did not bother me. The brakes will need adjustment over time but follow the maintenance guide. I already had chain oil and minot mechanic tools on hand. Suggest that. The frame seems really good along with the tires. Have put about 10 miles on it so far. Shipping was the worst but I put that on fedex...it sucked but it did arrive in the time frame on the Amazon page on the last day, so can't complain and I'm on the east coast. Keep the battery charged and in your house not in a cold garage. So far so good for my first e bike. Power and I also unlocked allowed it to go 26 mph on a straight stretch fully on throttle. Closer to 30 when peddling.

I purchased these for use when me and my partner take our RV on trips. We had an issue with the part that holds the handle bars and the company sent out a replacement part super quick! Thanks!Anyway, I am retired and I like to write. I retired in my 40s so I don’t consider myself that old. Anyway, after my partner put the bike together I attempted to get on it from the right side. It was definitely a hold my b@@@ moment. I immediately fell into a bunch of rocks. I did not break my hip but I did end up with a bit of a bruise on my knee. The next day, minus the adult beverages, I got on that bike and rode it. It is super easy to use and it looks kind of BA. We took both bikes on our last adventure and they were very useful. Recommend 1000%!

Too many issues. The headlight, the brake lights, and the horn don't work out of the box. The brakes struggle to stop the bike. The motor struggles to build any sort of speed from a complete stop and it's dangerous to make a left turn from a complete stop because you have to pedal to get upto any sort of speed and the chain constantly falls off the derailler.I've communicated these issues but I keep getting stupid responses. I am an experienced cyclist and have been riding all of my life and wanted to get something that should be useful for longer rides. The range on the battery is not at all 40 miles. It's barely 15 miles. On numerous tests and uses over 30 days I've never had over 17 miles total. Fully pedal assisting I have yet to see more than 17 miles in total.They keep trying to blame one item or another and continue to try to get me to go to a bike shop to do some work and they'd reimburse - which may seem like a nice benefit that they are communicating or attempting to make fixes but this is not good that this bike out of the box has all of these issues.Bad breaks, broken electronics, weak motor, low power battery, inaccurate ratings for speed, power, and range.This is not a good bike for anyone who wants to ride extensively around town. You'll need to be prepared to pedal without power a near 80lb bike. Any tiny inclines the motor struggles completely.

For the price works as it should. I do have a slight problem with the magnets engaging in the motor. But it takes me 15 mins to work n 15 mins home. No traffic it's great on the trails. Can't wait for the winter n see how it performs

First ebike only issue was the back fender, screw popped through the fender, I found a washer and used it to keep feom popping through. The bike was easy to put together and is fun to ride. Has more than enough power and speed we'll worth the money.

Just got my Likebike yesterday. It was exceptionally well packaged. Assembly is straight forward and took about 10 minutes. This thing rides extremely smooth! I was estatic when I found out this bike has cruise control! I wish it could go faster than 20mph but it's just fast enough for what I need. This is my first ebike so I dont have alot of knowledge about them, but I doubt there's a bike any better than this! Don't hesitate to make this purchase if you want a damn good ebike at a very reasonable price!

My boyfriend and I had been looking for e-bikes for a few months. We talked to a lot of people and had a lot of recommendations. We didn’t want to spend $5000 on something we weren’t sure we would use a lot. Then he came across the Likebikes! We thought they looked great. Had all the features we wanted (including fenders and the back rack) and the price was great in comparison to most others we looked at. So we said..what the heck… let’s order them. He got the black and I got the blue. We had an issue with shipping initially… I got a message from amazon the very next day saying they were shipped and 2 days later saying they had arrived…. But they had not. We live in Ontario and tracking showed they were delivered to BritishColumbia. Amazon sent a message to the company who got back to me the next morning and they said they would look into it. They got back to me the next day…apparently UPS does not deliver this type of product so they reshipped the bikes through Purolater and they arrived a few days later….. My boyfriend put them together without any issues (85% preassembled). Then on our first time out we saw that the lights on his bike would not turn on. I contacted the company again who promptly got back to me the next day and asked for my address so they could ship out the part….in the mean time he figured it out anyway.So the point of all that is that customer service is EXCELLENT. AND WE LOVE THESE BIKES! They are very solid and attractive. The blue tone is beautiful. Our first time out a car stopped and the driver asked us where we got them…. The price is great for the quality of this product. The speedometer tops out at 20mph ( 32 km/hr) but it feels like you are going faster. We love the fat tires as they give you a better sense of stability on the road ( haven’t tried them yet on sand or trails). They pedal without power easily as well. My partner is 6ft and he fits the bike well. I am 5’7”. I can get my leg over easily but when I put a 8inch bag on the back rack I found it harder to get on and off ….. so now it’s on his bike! There is a lock for the battery so no one can get the battery off without the key which is a great anti theft feature. And we had no problem charging the batteries at all. Bottom line…..I was really nervous about spending over $2000 for bikes we didn’t see in person and even more nervous when they said they were delivered and it wasn’t to my house….but the customer service was fantastic, the bikes are a great quality (much better than I expected for the price, and really I doubt you can get much better), they are physically very attractive, they have all the features you need and you dont have to spend extra money on fenders and racks. I highly recommend them ( and I’m pretty picky..lol). We are looking forward to lots of great rides..Thank you Likebike!

Amazing bicycle for the price, the fat tires make the ride smooth, comfortable ride. the bicycle came very fast, before the arrival date listed, and it came in perfect condition. I found it easy to assemble, i just followed the assembly manual that came with the bicycle.

I bought this bike to commute to work (10 miles each way). At first was bummed it topped out at 20 mph but then found a video to remove the limit. If you run out of juice the bike is a bit of a bear to ride without power. The overall quality is very good and I am loving my ride to work now. It would be nice to have the option when buying of choosing a more street worthy tire instead of the offroad tires. They tend to slip out if turning at speed . Im hoping to get my wife one of her own, but will need a step through frame for that seeing she is much smaller than me. Great bike !!

I had this bike for a while, and I am very satisfied how it runs!At first, I tried it out and got pretty comfortable using it, especially since the seat gives the right amount of cushion for me. The steering also felt very smooth.When I used it for a while going up down various roads and I was also happy with the battery life.Sometimes I go cruising and get 40+ miles on a single charge even when it was windy In my city.Overall now, I am very satisfied with this bike!

Love this bike did more than 500 miles on it and still in good conditions.Battery at full speed last about 1 hour and someDown side is it takes 6 hours to charge if you travel far might want to consider buying another battery. Speed is about 20 miles per hour good quality last long weights a lot and is also a high bike if you got short legs this might not be your bike

Bike dose not go as fast as it says, battery dies fast , pedal chain keep falling off, breaks very week u cannot stop very easy and u cannot go up hills at all not even the smallest one. Tired returning it they ask me to pay the return fee which it cost 700 ca$ and tried contacting them but not any support from them
