Our ceiling medallion collections are modeled after original historical patterns and designs. Our artisans then hand carve an original piece. Being hand carved each piece is richly detailed with deep relief, sharp lines, and a truly unique touch. That master piece is then used to create a mould master. Once the mould master is created we use our high density urethane foam to form each medallion. The finished look is a beautifully detailed, light weight, solid construction, focal piece. The resemblance to original plaster medallions is achieved only by using our high density urethane and not vacuum formed, "plastic" type medallions. - Medallions can be cut using standard woodworking tools to add a hole for electrical or a ceiling fan canopy. - Medallions are light weight for easy installation. - They are fully primed and ready for your paint. If you have any questions feel free to ask. These are in stock and available for immediate shipment.

I bought this Ekena Millwork CM13TI Tirana Ceiling Medallion 2 match another 1 bought years ago. So happy 2 b able 2 find it. Love that it came already primed & actually it was good enuf 2 put on the ceiling the way it is since I wanted white anyway. It's a plus 2 know that it's primed, if I ever want 2 paint it a different color.

this is a pure white with black crackle, not grey at all. looks ok with my black light fixture, but how they let this stand without correcting it is a mystery.

I was pleasantly surprised by the outcome of this purchase.I was replacing an old (60's?) light fixture with an antique crystal chandelier. The old fixture's canopy was 5", but the crystal chandelier's canopy was 4.5", and upon removal of the old canopy, there was an ugly dark line and unpainted ceiling visible. I would have to either paint the entire ceiling, or get a medallion.I went to a big-name home improvement store, but they didn't have this size of a medallion, and, to be honest, the medallions that they did have all looked really cheap. Their medallions were all thin, vacuum-formed plastic, and NONE were in this ornate style.I decided that I would look on Amazon and found this one. I bought it on my phone, while standing in the above-mentioned big-name store. :)This medallion is a thick foam. I bought the pre-primed version and bought a can of spray paint, which I applied in 2 light coats. I didn't think to take a picture of the primed version... The picture that you see is after I spray-painted it.As mentioned above, my canopy is 4.5", so it's top sits on the outer surface of the medallion, which itself is 1.25" thick. Make sure that your threaded rod is long enough, otherwise you will need to buy an adapter kit to make it work. I did not use any adhesive on the medallion. The medallion is very light-weight, so I am just using the canopy of the chandelier to hold the medallion up against the ceiling. YMMV.I'm really happy with the look, and with the (IMHO) reasonable price of the factory-primed version!

Great product whit nice Floral detail and already prime ready to paint.painted the floral detail with gold leaf pen.I ended up cutting it in half to fit around the chandelier I install so I wouldn't have to take apart, used some white caulking to hide the seams line

Arrived on time, was the perfect size, matches the ceiling perfectly and I couldn't be happier. Did not even have to attach it to the ceiling, it sandwiched between the ceiling and light fixture nice and tight because it is very light-weight.

I needed a ceiling medallion on a budget and ordered this one hoping for the best. I was immediately impressed and installation took me less than 5 minutes since I was only installing it under a trim piece and not on doing any electrical wiring. My 1927 ceiling is lathe and plaster, and the person who installed the previous light made a much larger hole than necessary which needed disguised. The one thing I would suggest people pay attention to is that this will add thickness to your overall installation, so be sure you're prepared with long enough screws, butterfly hooks, or whatever you're using. It really turned out beautifully for a very reasonable price and few minutes of time. All in all I would rate this A+.

Glad I ordered the whole piece. I got it cut in half (no $ involved), and glued it to the ceiling with "shoe goo", ( a thicker version of rubber cement)! I used regular scotch tape to hold it in place(on the ceiling). I've waited several days to not touch it so that the glue can "set up". I will paint it to see if the paint by itself will cover the seam or if I need to add some caulking, later. Looks crappy right now, BUT with some caulk and white paint, this will be awesome! The one thing I didn't do was measure the chandelier ceiling fixture across (and/or circumference) in order to get this in the correct size that corresponds with what we have here. I will update as I get this completed and maybe a picture! Should be FUN!
