Works great easy to clean sturdy wire nice and sharp it is easy to use and I love the compact feature. The one attachment is underneath the slicer so it doesn’t get lost.

Loved the concept but this thing did not survive past one or two uses.

This slicer is cleverly designed. It comes with three cutting options (I refer to them as "blades") so you can slice eggs or cut them in two with a simple press of the handle. The third blade (6-wedge) snaps into the bottom for storage and initially, it had me baffled because I thought I would be swapping out blades to get the desired cut but that’s not how it works. Blades #1 & #2 aren’t removable so how does blade #3 work? Turns out it is used independent of the handle. You nest the egg in the slicer and simply press this blade thru the egg, by hand. It works but I had to login to amazon to find this out because there is no product insert and I wasn’t understanding the picture on the box. I could see the ring on blade #3 was perfectly round while the other two were tapered on the sides to fit the slicer but I didn’t realize they weren’t removeable. I know better than to force things (especially if they’re made of plastic) but come on – tell us what we need to know.Well, in looking at the listing again, there is a photo that shows FOUR cutting modes – dice, half-cut, 6-wedge & slice. Yet, the listing title says THREE cutting modes. I suppose to dice, you slice first then rotate the egg in the base and slice again. Perhaps someone with more kitchen savvy could figure all of this out without instructions. For those of us whose joy of cooking is non-existent, the lack of clarity is aggravating to say the least. When I have to login to amazon for user information, I always deduct a star – my review, my rule.Back to what I like. It’s plastic so no rusting and the “blades” are made of stainless steel so they should be durable. It’s listed as dishwasher safe so easy to clean. It’s very easy to use once you understand the unstated (obvious?) nuances.Overall, I’m glad I tested this slicer and would definitely recommend it but they only get four stars from me for the reasons as noted above.
