The tow line is adequate, but seemed a bit thin. And longer than I needed. I ended up shortening it, and replacing it with a stronger line.It comes with plenty of surgical tubing, but I can’t seem to pull it far enough back to bring my plane to full height. I’m suspicious that it is not elastic enough. I’m going to give another few tri’s before I replace that.The spool is handy for winging up at the end, and the ground stake is robust enough.My plane is a 2meter Spirit 100, so it is a bit on the heavy side.

I launched my KA 8 Sailplane a good twenty times and nothing broke on the launcher. I think a fishing spinner on the last key ring may be a good idea. I don't know how many pounds it should be or if it is needed. My KA 8 has zero dihedral wings so the plane tended to bank hard to the left, when the High Start had been used a few times. The surgical tubing was twisted in that direction wile rolling it up. I walked out 400 long paces and put the stake in at a 45% angle. The tubing gives the lift. The string protects you from having the stake if it should come out from hitting you. The parachute is bright and works great. The bright color makes it easy to find the end of the string. It has instructions on how to tie the knots that really come in handy for someone that can only tie a slip knot like myself. I give this item a A+.

Works great for Ka8 2.25M glider instructions are good but could be better.Setting this up was easy out at the field cleanup after launch is a little pain due to tangle which happens from time to time.
