How to replace battery?
Take out the key and use the tip of a very small screwdriver as a tool to open the back case, replace the same battery carefully. You can use a clean cloth to clean the battery in case some dushes existed

So buyer beware. I had this cut for an 08 Dodge Avenger. Unlocks and turns car power on but wont start. Next I have a J2534 connecter and software to program the key. But you need a 4 digit code from the dealer which is a security code. But in Canada is illegal to hand out to customers as thieves could make their own keys. This key would work fine if you have 2 keys already and want a 3rd as you dont need special software to program additional keys. Only the Dealer and a locksmith can program this and will cost over 150$ or more

My other oem key for 2013 Chrysler 200 broke. Dealership told me $600. I purchased this, had it cut at home hardware q It and changed over the electronics. Anyone could do this. Works and looks like my original. Saved over $500. Great product.

It can be programmed to turn on the car and that’s about all it had going for it. Had to return, the fob function didn’t work and it broke when trying to check if battery was the problem (which it wasn’t). It defeated the purpose of getting a fob and if you can’t open it to change the battery without risk of breaking, its poorly designed.

I got these keys for my 2006 dodge charger when I went to get them programmed one of them wouldnt program at all the other programmed to the ignition only neither of the key fobs work and will not program to the car so I was just out the 80 dollar programming fee
