My daily work is comprised of very repetitive keyboard strokes which often causes my hands to ache/cramp after a few hours. I purchased this keyboard to help alleviate some of the pains from the position and repetitive motions I do hundreds of time each day. It’s only been a few days but so far- I love it!The software was very easy to download. The instructions came with the product and it is also in the description of this listing. I downloaded it on my personal laptop and played around for a few minutes with the options then quickly made my selections for each key and saved. In total, it took under 5 minutes. I could have spent more time and played around with the lighting effects but honestly, I don’t care about the them. I unplugged the keyboard from my personal laptop and into my work laptop and all the keys work exactly as I intended.It takes a bit of retraining your brain to not use the full keyboard but once you get the hang of it, it was great and so far. My only regret is now not purchasing the 6 key product vs the 5 key.

Great mini keyboard. I use it for my MAME arcade. I like that you can program separate colors for each key that stay on constantly. Normally i would knock this a point for the antiquated microusb port instead of C, but it's so good I'll let that pass.Software wasn't hard to use at all. If you are uncomfortable with downloading the Chinese software, you can instead program it directly at the supplied web address while having it plugged into your PC.

Responsiveness is good and the build quality is nice. The software is a bit strange to use but It works and has a lot of features. Reprogramming is easy and can be set to just about anything you want. Lighting is a bit confusing to change but the colors look nice. The micro usb port did end up breaking so im forced to use the type c port so my functionality was reduced.

The build quality of the keys are great. The software is an embarrassment to software writers. The installer creates a web server that you point Chrome or Edge to 127.0.0.1. The Mac version didn't work at all. Half of the buttons and labels in the software are in Chinese with English misspellings all around. I suppose once you get it working it might be ok, but it's not worth the hassle of programming it. The second time I plugged it into my Windows machine it stopped recognizing it and said there was an error. I put it back in the package to return.

Bought for gamingPros:-All the pros of a mechanical keyboard.-Cheap and surprisingly high quality.-The website works as intendedCons:-You have to use a website to modify the lights. But that really isn't a super big deal.Detailed Review:I bought this keyboard for gaming. I had a wrinkly brained genius scholar inventor extraordinaire moment and realized I could super glue a 3-key mechanical keyboard to the back of my ps4 controller for extra key binds in Rocket League. This 3-key mech found its way into my mailbox shortly after and I've been very pleasantly surprised with this thing.It feels very well made and sturdy. The base is made of a few layers of acrylic plates. You can even take the top acrylic plate off to modify the key-switches if you want. I'm pretty sure the key-switches are Cherry Reds, they look and sound like them anyway. At the least, this thing is a true mechanical keyboard,meaning you can modify it like any other mechanical keyboard.I was a little apprehensive about using the website to modify the colors and settings (which is SayoDevice.com btw if you do buy it). But my virus protection isn't sussed about the site and I haven't had any issues using it at all. A lot of the text is in Simplified Chinese, but there is also English where it's important. You can use the site to change the key's programming, the lights on the keyboard, and other stuff.If you need a 3-key mechanical keyboard for some reason, I recommend buying this one. I'm satisfied with it and even feel like I got a higher quality product than I expected to receive.

I just received the device a couple of hours ago so I can't confirm reliability, but the built quality feels really good.There are a lot of reviews on here that state that there is no software or that there are no drivers. The instructions on amazon clearly stated where to get the software to program the device and no drivers are required. Once programmed, it can be unplugged and moved around to any computer with any OS that accepts a USB keyboard (cause that is what is is).The program was bit difficult to figure out since what few instructions exist are in Chinese. But with a bit of playing around I figured it out within an hour.I was curious why each button allowed three functions. It turns out you can put three functions in each button and then use 1 button to switch "banks" using the SW function. So a 6 button device becomes a 5X3 device for 15 functions. You can change the color of the bank switching button to indicate which bank is active.There are also some really interesting modes to the RGB color transitions. They have Chinese labels but they can be easily figured out through trial and error. When I am in my password 'bank' I have the bank button blink red. In the Multimedia bank it is solid green and in the third bank it is blue. I don't know what I will do with it yet, it is an unexpected 5 button bonus.

This has been a great little mini-controller. The software that runs it is simple and easy to use. I just mapped the functions I wanted to each key, saved functions to the device, and been using it ever since. Very happy with it.

I'm not going to lie, it's a little fiddly to set up and you look like you are downloading some dodgy software, however the software appears to be fine. I bought it to program up as a caps lock indicator. It goes green when cap's lock is on and not illuminated when off. I was trying to figure out how to do green and red respectively but gave up as I just don't have the time. I programmed both buttons to do the same, however you can pretty much do what you want with button allocation, more options available in Linux. It has rotation colour options and all that.@ the developer please add in the light section option for solid colour on and solid colour off, if it had that it would be pretty much perfect. Nice bit kit, took a chance as not sure it would do what I wanted.So, I bought another one which I have programmed up with format painter as a shortcut. So between the two units which is four buttons I have it set up as follows.Button 1 does caps lock and lights up Green all the time when Cap's lock is on.Button 2 is set up for shortcut Undo with it illuminated in Purple for Num Lock when Num lock is on.The second unitButton one is set up with a short cut for format painter and set with a Dark blue colour but basically illuminated all the time.Button two is set up for Save as function but is essentially Save will a colour of turquoise which is illuminated all the time.I work in Excel all the time and this saves me a lot of time.

I do video editing and the way to select between different shots in a multi-clip is by using the numeric keypad. Well, I found that to be inconvenient as I am right handed and both the mouse and numeric keypad are on the right. I purchased this little programmable keypad to place on the left side of my station as a dedicated shot selector. It does the job perfectly and it even came pre-programmed to “1,2,3&4”. I drilled a hole in my desk to hide the wire and double face taped it into place and it’s absolutely the ideal solution to my problem. Great item and a great value. Plus, the changing color lights add a high tech look to it.
