Looks are deceiving in the pics. I did the shake and bake method and the powder covered very well thick and even, roughly .005 thick for a total of 10 thousands over all thicker diameter. I applied this over bare lead and it made the bullet look old or patina. I thought is a cool look. So you see some of the natural lead come through with portions of copper. This is a semi translucent powder and was designed to have a white or chrome base under it. The bullets ran through my sizer like butter and shot very well with no leading out of my 44 mag lever gun and 444 marlin lever gun. I recommend this as a great bullet coating powder

Very easy to use to powder coat cast bullets. No leading of barrel!
