I know these aren't supposed to be great items but these things are pathetic. Their is no way to connect the top to the middle without tearing it up. Also it's impossible to piece together without showing the big metal wire. No room to insert into top piece. I wouldn't purchase it!

So these are really cute. We used them indoors, so they didn't have to contend with weather. They'd probably be OK in a light breeze. Next year I will find a way to make them taller so a larger range of children can use them.
