I ordered this pewjury Eagle Costume Animal Onesie Adult, Fierce Eagle Matching Onesies for Couples,Halloween Cosplay eagle costume for my teenage son, and as an addition to our family costume collection. My family loves costumes and dressing up. It’s getting close to Halloween time, one of our favorite times of year. We go all out, our NYC neighborhood is known for safe trick or treating, and kids come in from all over the city. We do up the whole house, and we dress up, too.Our tiny house is crammed with vintage tuxedos and flapper dresses, doublets and pirate pants, princess gowns and Indiana Jones fedoras, petticoats and corsets… and don’t forget the creatures. My son has loved dressing up as plushy (or inflatable) beasts since he was a tiny toddler. He has a wardrobe of zippered animals, everything from dinosaurs to the Grimace, and the eagle is his newest favorite.I love that my teenager is so patriotic that he wanted an American Eagle costume. I’ll admit, I asked when he would wear it—his first answer, naturally? When WOULDN’T he wear it? He had plans for Election Day, Fourth of July, Memorial Day, etc. This costume is cute and the plush fabric is warm and fuzzy. I got my son the XL. He’s not quite 6’ tall and weighs about 200 pounds—built big, not heavy. The XL was the right call, I think anything else would have been too short in the legs. He takes after his dad, they both have strong sturdy Scottish legs that look great in their kilts. This eagle costume is cut sort of like a pair of fleece pajamas. It has cuffed bands at the wrists and angles, and a zipper down the front. The fleece is a cozy brown with just a hint of a red undertone. The wings are attached to the arms, there’s about eight rows or scallops, ranging from white to browns to black. The eagle has a white tail attached to the tush. The head is the hood, it’s fairly deep, and there’s a yellow beak and eyes on the top of the hood part.My son says this is super comfortable to lounge around in, it feels like pajamas. He has big plans for Election Day—he was talking about decorating the house with our Fourth of July decorations. He was even talking about putting on his American Eagle costume to go outside and decorate our house with our Fourth of July decorations. (While dressed as the eagle, if I didn’t make that clear.)For your Election Day, Fourth of July, school pageant, or whenever you find yourself needing an American Eagle plush adult onesie, this will meet, nay, exceed your needs. It’s super cute, and made fairly sturdy. A great addition to my family’s ever-growing costume collection.

The material is great and the design is so fun! However, the cut on it is for a REALLY short person. I am only 5' tall and it looks like I am wearing floods. Not only that but the torso is way too short. Yet it was wide enough for a whole person more to fit.

what's the point of a onesie that you can't zip up? Sending it back for a replacement though because the recipient loves it and it's VERY soft like a plushie. We got 2 other birds for the other kids who were more like fleece/not soft. This is very soft.

I like the design of this item and the overall quality. It looks great, it is comfortable and would make an awesome/fun costume (visually). The material is very nice and soft and in general seems to be well made. However, I was very disappointed with the sizing. The sizing says a medium is for 5' - 5'4". As a small built person (5'6") I went on the side of caution and went a size down. Unfortunately this costume is absolutely HUGE and totally not suitable for this height range (see pics).

I recently bought the Eagle Costume Animal Onesie as a gift for my father-in-law, who is an avid bird watcher. Boy, did it soar beyond expectations! He usually spends his days with binoculars glued to his face, scanning the skies for real eagles, so I thought, why not bring the eagle to him? Little did I know, this would become his new "birdwatching uniform."When he unwrapped it, there was a moment of confusion as he held it up, unsure if this was a joke or his new life. But as soon as he slipped into the plush feathers of this majestic onesie, he truly embraced his inner bird of prey. It was like he transformed from a mild-mannered retiree into an apex predator in the living room. The fierce eagle face on the hood is both terrifying and hilarious—like a combination of "I’ll steal your fish" and "Hug me, I’m fluffy."This onesie is nothing short of a masterpiece for Halloween, cosplay, or just lounging around in your eagle glory. The talon-like feet add an extra level of authenticity, and my father-in-law now insists on wearing it during his birdwatching excursions. Imagine the other birders' surprise seeing an eagle manning the spotting scope! Now, let’s talk comfort. You might think looking like a bird of prey would require a sacrifice of coziness, but no. This thing is as soft as a nest lined with the finest down feathers. My father-in-law loves it so much that he’s started wearing it around the house like a housecoat. He says it’s the next best thing to actual flight—if only he had wings that flapped! The funniest part is that this was intended as a Halloween costume, but it’s morphed into an everyday outfit. He even wore it to a local birdwatching club meeting, and apparently, it was the talk of the group. One guy in his group quipped, “If you can’t find the eagles, be the eagle!” He’s now the club mascot, and they refer to him as "Big Talon."The only drawback? He can’t stop flapping his arms and "screeching" dramatically at family gatherings. It’s like we’ve lost him to the bird world. But overall, the costume fits well, the material is sturdy, and the zipper holds up even with his frequent reenactments of eagle flight patterns. I will say the only issue is that the tail feathers are slightly too long, so there have been a couple of tripping incidents. But hey, that’s just part of learning to fly, right? In conclusion, if you need an unforgettable gift for a bird lover or just want to spice up your family’s next gathering, the Eagle Onesie will not disappoint. Just be prepared for the person inside to truly become the eagle. I’m off to buy a falconry glove for his next birthday. Fly high, Dad!
