The days of prying out seals with screw-drivers are over. These are inexpensive enough, robust enough, and absolutely functional enough to get the job done the right way. The handle is adequate - not too long, not too short, and not too thin. The gel-coat is a welcome feature for the grip - but a word or warning, the "hooks" are a bit sharp - don't play with it and poke your finger. It will jab the seal and probably punch through the face, but it'll do the job.

This review is on the seal puller tool from DURATECH. The photos show details of the tool after removing it from the packaging. The seal puller is exactly as described in the listing. It’s manufactured with durability in mind. The tool is made with thick chrome plated steel with a plastic rubberized handle that’s comfortable to grip and will not slip easily. The business end is black oxide coated with two different sized hooks for removing seals. This seal puller makes the task of removing seals much easier. The listing shows the proper way for using it, just be sure you get the hook underneath the steel portion that the seal is bonded to, otherwise you will end up ripping the seal without removing the entire assembly. This tool also helps eliminate the possibility of damaging other attaching parts by using punches, chisels, or screwdrivers etc. instead of a proper seal puller. This is a very affordable quality seal puller tool from DURATECH and should be in your toolbox for making maintenance tasks easier to perform. I recommend!

Great seal puller, the thin profile and tool head allows you to get into places relatively with ease. Would definitely recommend. Machining is well done and does not feel flimsy well built.
