This is a GREAT pick. The stiffness allows it to be very precise and and the pointy tip adds to that as well. The best part is that it's beveled and smooth at the tip which makes traversing strings a breeze and a joy. It's about time that large vendors started making picks like this. Ive spent years buying custom picks that were very expensive and I'm thrilled to see the same style picks now being made in bulk and for much less.

This is the fastest pick I've ever playedBut due to the material it chirps something awfulI've used hundreds of picks, and no matter how I hold this pick, or change my pick attack or contact with the string, the material this is made out of just chirps like crazy.I use this pick for training and practice. Thanks to the wonderful point of the pick, it is great for lead playing... but thanks to the material, I will never perform or record with this pick. Still recommend for practice and training.

I love thes picks. I use the 2.0 and while it is heavier and thicker than all picks i've used in the past, it just feels right. The thumb indention allows the pick to stay in your hand and the smooth finish actually kinda suctions to your skin alleviating it slipping around and messing up your riff or solo. They are on the pricey side by comparison but they last forever making them a good value because they wear out very slowly. The only other pick I play is the Dunlop Hetfield White Fang in 1.14. I'm due to order another pack of each. Keep up the good work Jim Dunlop, you make a great product.

a) small indention in the middle makes it easy to keep in place b) this thing is SUPER SLICK in texture and just flies across the strings making it so effortless to speed pick or just to add some spicy runs in the middle of a solo. I have spent a small fortune looking for "the pick" and have finally found it.

A bit pricey but they are very durable. Takes a long time before I start to notice any wear.Not sure why the description says Brown. They are a deep ruby red.

Im looking for picks that are perfect for shredding, and these looked great! But my experience here is that the tip is actually pretty fat, which is really not good if youve put in the work to develop a very tight pick attack. True, they glide off the strings like butter, but when theyre about as thick as butter, its not a huge help. Recently i bought some ibanez pjtc1’s, and DAMN thin tip, nice bevel, very durable, good size, perfect shredders pick. So all in all, im really just dissing the pick for being fatUpdate: week or so later, i slowly found my self coming to this pick over my others for who knows why, but it just kinda happened, and now this is my favorite pick for shredding! Fat tip is fine now, its just less precise for string skipping

Ich habe mich in den letzten eineinhalb Jahren intensiv mit dem Thema Plektrum beschäftigt, wobei ich einige ausprobiert habe: Dunlop Jazz 3 & Jazz 3 max grip carbon fiber, Jazz 3 XL, Dunlop sharp 1mm-1,5mm, Ibanez Paul Gilbert, NoLogoPicks Custom JM und zuletzt das Dunlop Flow Primetone 1mm.Ich habe mir dabei bei jedem Plektrum genug Zeit gelassen, um Kriterien wie Langlebigkeit, Grip und leichte/fluide Spielbarkeit zu beurteilen.Im Gegensatz zu den anderen Plektren ist das Dunlop Flow Gloss 2mm nicht zu klein und verrutscht nicht so leicht zwischen den Fingern.Wenn das Plektrum doch mal leicht verrutscht, lässt sich die Position durch die beidseitigen konkaven Einbuchtungen leicht und auch während des Spiels korrigieren.Auch die dickere Form von 2mm wirkt sich nicht negativ auf das handling und feeling beim Picken aus. Durch die abgerundeten Kanten spielt sich das Plektrum sehr einfach, was sich gerade beim Sechzehntel-Speedpicking bemerkbar macht: Saitenwechsel beim Speedpicking gehen wesentlich einfacher und flüssiger vonstatten.Die Langlebigkeit scheint der des Flow Primetones ebenbürtig zu sein.Einziger Kritikpunkt von meiner Seite wäre der relativ hohe Preis.

After trying tons of picks, I've gone, like many players, in the direction of thicker and more pointed picks in order to get better control for lead playing. These are hands-down the best picks I've ever used for its balance of good qualities. The indented shape allows for a better grip while decreasing weight slightly; the ridges make the grip certain, but not so firm you can't shift the pick while playing; the pick itself is not too small or large; the tip point and bevel, as well as smooth finish, allow gliding over the strings with practically nonexistent pick noise; and the Ultex material makes them last practically forever. In light of the extreme durability, the price is actually cheap for these as long as you don't lose them.

Overall, I like these picks quite a bit & I've used them quite a bit...& I'll probably continue to use them quite a bit too...(?) BUT! When I first started using them, I was really back & forth on whether I even wanted to continue using them or not; &, if I'm honest, there still is that occasional doubt...(?) Now though, it's more of just selecting a different pick initially for playing new material that diverges from what I'm accustomed.These picks are precise, they move fast, & they have a nice contour to them for an easy grip. They're also rigid & form a distinct point. So, while they are precise & fast, they are not very forgiving — if the tip even touches a string on an electric guitar, they will produce a fairly strong sound compared to thinner & rounded picks. So, I imagine they might frustrate many when first playing with them. It's something that you have to get used to...&, believe me, I have one that I modified, smoothing out the tip. It helped avoid the accidental strikes, but it became de-glossed &, therefore, slower & unable to produce the same quality of sound. So, I didn't end up using the modified pick all that much.Despite the initial difficulty I found using these picks, I still found myself choosing these (or this...as I've really only used one & modified another...? They're not easily destroyed...) whenever I sat down to play my guitar. & Now it's pretty much exclusive use of the 2mm Flow Gloss.So, in my opinion, the benefits are precision, speed, & clear & strong sound.The drawbacks are the learning curve or a possible adjustment to your standard manner of play. These picks are thick & unforgiving; if you take on a song with lots of power cords, you're pushing through them all...it sounds cool, but it will either tax your hand or your wrist more than you may be accustomed depending on your form & rate of adapting to the different pick. If you use a thinner pick & rely on the pick bending, these won't...& playing a power cord might feel like you're going to rip the strings right off of your guitar. That's not likely, but it will wear your hand, wrist, & arm down in short order.Overall, they're less than $10 for 3; they're unique; & I think they are definitely worth trying out. After all, I went from hating them to more or less preferring them as standard use...(?)
