2 of the preinstalled skimming blades were bent on the ends pretty bad. Tried to bend them back but there’s a permanent crease on them now.

The blades themselves are actually pretty good. They arrived undamaged and in good condition. The pole leaves something to be desired, but I wouldn't use a pole with skimming blades anyway. Nice to have the case, but the hinge is just part of the blow mold (not a mechanical hinge). As such, it will eventually crack and separate. All the tools sit loose in the case - there's no pre-cut internal foam to keep things from knocking into each other.

the blades are great, but the extendable handle is junk, the pole itself is ok but the little plastic mounting point is not strong enough. if you can't control the blade while it's on the pole then your work suffers. it would be better if it was a thread in so any pole would fit. I made my own pole that's strong enough so you have blade control. hence only 4 stars
