Out of the package, the pedals were so tight on the spindles that that one pedal wouldn't turn without feeling the bearings grinding against one another. The other turned better, but was not smooth. Didn't even put them on the bike. I knew in the first minutes that they were going back. Just my opinion but these would not last long for me. But, $19..... See Pic. When held horizontal, that pedal should rotate downward.

I got the polypropylene version and I am very satisfied. I installed pedals on my Trek Dual Sport 1. Easy to install and use.

Absolutely zero issues with these toe clips. I have them on my Cannondale superV mountain bike, and they work great. Easily adjustable, no hassles with the shoes I use, and great price.

For the cost Im glad I made the purchase. I never owned clipless pedals or toe straps to compare these to anything regarding quality. It comes with nylon straps which are adjustable. the toe portion is a hard plastic, the pedals are aluminum. They were easy to install like you would any other bicycle pedals. So far no issues just had to get use to been strapped in when i come to a stop to remember to pull my foot out of the straps. I left the strap loose so I can get my foot in/out easier. It's worth the cost if you are like me and wanting to see what it feels like to be strapped in before going clipless I think these are a good buy.

I love the Bike Pedals; they are easy to install and sturdier than the ones my indoor bike had. They are comfortable and easy to use.

Nice pedals and toe clips. Can easily be used without the toe clips. I do agree with the reviewer(s) who believe the bearings are a bit too tight. You need a knife, a 9/16" deep socket & ratchet and a 5/8" open end wrench to loosen the bearings a bit. Pry off the black plastic dust cap. I used a sharp pocket knife blade. 5/8" wrench on the pedal axle flats and the deep socket on the outboard side. Turn the tools against each other to 'loosen' about 1/4 turn. You want the axle to spin smoothly with zero wiggle. Add a small amount of grease to both ends. I used a spray that turns into grease. I may replace the toe clip straps with leather ones but these are okay to start with Recommend. as long as "you" can adjust the bearings,

I got these to replace my plastic pedals on a stationary bike. I guess I press down on pedals with a fair amount of force, so they always break - both on stationary and regular bikes. I got these because they were metal and they looked sturdy in the picture. I got them in the other day. No directions on them, so if you don't know how to change pedals, you may have to look it up on You Tube. Nor was there any paperwork about a guarantee. Or anything. Just the pedals wrapped in plastic. They were easy enough to install (I have done it many times before) and they seemed to work OK, but the right pedal had an annoying audible and perceptible click - seemed like a burr or something on the bearing. It always clicked at the same point in the rotation. I ignored it and it eventually went away. ( I guess I wore the burr down.) But both of my ankles have been sore since I switched to these pedals, especially the left ankle. So I guess they are quite a workout for my ankles. Bad bearings, I think, as others have mentioned. I will try them for another week or so. As long as my ankles recover, I guess they will do the trick. They seem sturdy enough.

Have put these on the bike and tried them out. So far, I think they will be fine. I got these to do some longer rides and wanted the cages to enable me to ride a bike using up and down on the pedals. I have a set of clipless pedals that I normally ride with, but I have moved to a city where I have to ride with traffic and wanted something that was hopefully a little easier to remove my foot from in an emergency. While I prefer the clipless pedals, these I think will work a little better in traffic. Time will tell. These at the moment also are "stiff" enough that the cages do not freewheel to the bottom and drag the ground. Hopefully they will stay that way so that it is easier to get the foot in from a green light start where you have one foot in a pedal and one foot on the ground.Yes, I have seen bicyclist's who can stay in the pedals and balance forever! while waiting on a light to change....I am not one of those people....
