Traditionally, gear ratio is changed by the up-and-down rolling movement of the roller weights in the ramp of the Movable Drive Pulley (MDF). Now the innovative Dr. Pulley Sliding Roller Weights slide up-and-down the ramp to change the gear ratio. This unique sliding movement (not rolling) provides exclusive advantages to increase CVT performance. With Dr. Pulley , no abnormal wear will occur even when running in high gear. I bought these to replace the round rollers that came on my Ruckus. Accleration is very smooth and quick. I had heard good things about sliding roller weights and wanted to try them out.

Very impressed with the Dr. pulley sliders, very significant difference between the sliders and the rollers, tried performance variator with rollers and did not com close to original variator with dr. Pulley Sliders

What can I say? Anybody that rides a CVT bike knows that you can't go wrong with Dr. Pulley. They are smooth, seemingly everlasting, and do what they claim. Can't complain at all.
