Now the innovative Dr. Pulley Sliding Roller Weights slide up-and-down the ramp to change the gear ratio. Not sure what all the hope is all about. I spent the extra money on them and didn't notice much at all from the $10 rollers or $10 sliders.

I bought the 6.5g sliders. Didn't know any difference at all, everything is the same.Edit: Then I tried the 5g sliders.. man what a difference. Much more acceptable takeoff if you're a light rider. Very noticeable and it's huge for being able to maintain 30-35mph up hills in traffic when I would fall to 25mph or so before. I still am somehow able to get 40-45mph top speed on flat ground.

I'm 165 lbs with a stock Honda Ruckus. I found the 5.5 really improved my overall acceleration, as well as better mid range and a high top end(by 3 MPH), although not much. hover it more enjoyable to ride. I also ordered 6.5 and i'm very curios to try them.

These sliding roller weights work perfect in my Kymco 49cc scooter. They give me greater performance when going up hill, and help me not to lose as much speed which is a big plus for all those scooter riders who know how "hills" kill your speed. All around these slider roller weights are a great product and worth every penny they cost because scooter riders need all the extra speed they can get! If your a scooter rider, GET THEM, PERIOD!!! You will not be disappointed!

1500 rpm clutch springs and these dr. Pulley sliders goes hand to hand great performance upgrade trust you will notice the difference. Added to my 100cc big bore kit. Now its truly responding like a 100cc.

i tried two different sizes / weights of these and both made my moped slower it would cost alot of money expirimenting with these things to get them right they didnt work for me

I have a 2015 Ruckus 50cc. This together with Polini variator and a NCY CDI made my Ruckus into a totally new machine. Install is very easy even for lay person like myself. I weigh about 165 and have 6.5 sliders. Acceleration, mid range and top speed have all improved. I hover around top 40s and sometime low 50s with this combo. Why Honda does not have these parts in their OEM Ruckus, I will never know.
