Traditionally, gear ratio is changed by the up-and-down rolling movement of the roller weights in the ramp of the Movable Drive Pulley (MDF). Now the innovative Dr. Pulley Sliding Roller Weights slide up-and-down the ramp to change the gear ratio. This unique sliding movement (not rolling) provides exclusive advantages to increase CVT performance. With Dr. Pulley , no abnormal wear will occur even when running in high gear. Received black sliders instead of the typical cream colored ones? No issues with them in terms of use though work exactly as they should. Ordered what I wanted and received what I wanted no complaints from me!

I was in the market for some new weights for my Honda metropolitan. The old weights were wore out from years of use. I needed some more speed in my scooter. With these new weights I can definitely tell a little more acceleration is there. I haven’t had them long enough to tell if speeds increased or not but I’m satisfied with these sliders.

used on both taotao cya50 and atm50-a1 for a rider of about 170lbs with red springs in the clutch and was able to quickly get to top speed with little to no drag in the lower gears. much better than rollers in my personal opinion.

I actually used these 5 gr. In my new 2018 Honda Ruckus stock engine stock variator , just replaced stock 7gr. Rollers w these . They work just as advertised. Better pick up , did not loose any speed. Btw. I’m 215 lb. Tried 4g rollers which did not work for my weight.

Fit well and work well. They added about 4 mph to top end of my stock 2013 Honda metro with original variator. Intermediate range response is much better than original rollers too. Original rollers were 6.5 grams and these are weighted to 5.5 grams.

Followed roller +1g rule. Too heavy. Didn't love the performance curve on my standard style variator. Sticking with good quality roller.

Awesome product, but I should've ordered heavier weights since I did a clutch upgrade and the 5g weights were too light for initial takeoff. But I will order up some heavier weights soon.
