I have been using these for many years.Best djembe rope puller I have ever found and beats the heck out of wrapping the rope around a dowel like we did in the 90s.

This thing is superb. You need to apply some force to tune a high-quality drum, and this tool will let you do it with ease.

thank god that i've chosen the double djembe drum rope puller instead of the single djembe drum rope puller. i've tuned the djembe to add diamonds on second row weaves ("s" weave is known for locked method) which it required a lot strength of my two hands to pull easier.this puller also was used for me to pull tighten the vertical rope first before i've started to tune up on first row weave then if necessary to add up second rows.keep in mind, after adding first row, don't rush to play on it. good idea to give skin head a rest for 24 hours to be unstressed then time to drum. if it needs to add second row weaves then it is good idea for me to play djembe drum in a week first before it is safe for me to add second row weaves. after adding second row weaves completely then i waited again next day to play djembe drum without giving skin head any stress. just logic tell me.

Solid construction, aluminum, grabs 3/16" rope easy, release requires a small upside down tug. Great drum stringing tool for anyone.

A great addition to any djembe bag! It is very easy to ise and it really does save your hands a lot of grief. Pulling diamonds is a breeze! At a recent festival I helped a few drumers pull a few quick diamonds before performing and they too were impressed with how easy this tool made pulling diamonds.
