Brakes were locking up due to a clog inside the master cylinder, this fixed it and now the brakes work perfectly. Installed on a 2001 silverado 3500 cab and chassis

Used this master with my 1 ton swap, 1981 gm dually front Dana 60 brakes, rear 2001+ gm 14 bolt brakes. Used with a PV4 prop valve and 2005 GM hydro booster.Do a proper bench bleed on it with the oil going through lines back into the reservoir. Trying to bench bleed with the plugs it came with was useless.Way better pedal feel that a small bore master cyl on hydroboost setup.

So anyways, yeah, it fits on an S10. 3/4 ton SAS swap if you must know. The important thing here is that it works as it should. I feel it's important for you to know that this is for the Hydroboost though. Yes I used the stock S10 vacuum booster for now. Hydro boost setups are expensive okay. The breaks are a tad stiff, but no problems over all. If you're not going to use this on hydro boost, find the one for the vacuum boost version. It'll be a lot softer.

Literally took longer to bleed the brake system than to install the master cylinder. It also has the monitor plug at the bottom just like the OEM, so everything lined up perfectly. I assume the plug is to monitor the fluid level in the reservoir.I pre-bled using the Dorman 14151 Bleed Kit; this is the kit you want because it has TWO of each size plug. I also needed a 15mm flare wrench to remove and reinstall the two bleed lines. The 2 bolts that hold the master cylinder to the firewall were 15mm as well, so I used the wrench for both areas.
