Our 1999 runner was lacking in pressure to the rear brakes with 340k on the truck we tracked it down to half of the master cylinder not even functioning anymore. We had good luck with dorman products before and since the cost was below the auto zone stores we went with Amazon. The brake situation is much better now with the new master cylinder after getting everything bleed out with new fluid. I will update to 5 star if we are good after a few months pass by with no issues.

Perfect replacement for my 1998 Toyota 4-runner. Old Master cylinder was going bad and I couldn't hardly stop. I replaced with a new brake booster and this master cylinder and it stops like new!

Got it. Easily installed it. And got my breaks to stop being squishy. To bad my trans started having problems right after to enjoy my new responsive breaks. Went onto a 3rd gen 98' toyota 4runner.
