Its not a simple replacement. (App: 2002 avalanche rear dual piston caliper) i had to remove my old boots. Cut off the flexible portion of the old boots. Then wrap the new boots around the harder portion of the old boots. (These boots do not have a classic style "oil seal" portion to fit them into place). The way that I hacked it worked well for me but honestly I do not recommend this kit. I've been working on vehicles for 25 years and I highly recommend that you go to your dealer and find the boot kit for your application and then you can possibly go off of their part number to find a good deal because no one seems to have the correct product in stock or the right information for you to go off of.

Worked perfectly *but* was quite the chore to install and I'm sure it would be an impossible DIY for those less mechanical. There is a procedure to install caliper seals and I would not recommend this part for anyone that can't envision which lip/part installs first and/or doesn't have someone to help that has rebuilt calipers previously. It would be best to purchase a remanufactured or new caliper complete. For those that have rebuilt calipers, it installs perfectly as expected.

If you can get these set in a Ford Superduty caliper, my hat goes off to you. I gave up after trying all the methods on Youtube and ended up just buying a rebuilt caliper from Auto Zone. That came with new pins, retainers and boots and a lifetime warranty. With a VA dicsount, it was only around $50. So save yourself the time and trouble and go with a rebuilt one.
