Old one had rotted out. Had to drill out the old rivets on the frame to attach the new shock mount. This fit perfectly. 2006 Ford Ranger XLT 4WD.

Very good quality, and the metal is actually thicker than factory OEM replacement. Mount is a direct fit for my 2000 Ranger. Hardware to install the mount is included. Drilling or cutting will be required to remove old shock mount.

Definitely worth the money! Bolted right up with no issues. Ordering the other side since I see it's good quality. Drilled out the old and took 15 minutes total.

99 Ford Ranger. Worked like a charm to replace my badly rusted original shock mounts. The hard part is getting the old parts off. After that it takes 5 minutes to install and torque these down.

The mounts bolted on easily and fit great. The provided nut that holds the top of the shock on the post did not fit. It felt like it was the wrong size. My local Nut and Screw shop could not find a match. They suggested that the powder coating that is covering the thread is too think. I ran a die down the threads scraping off the powder coat and the nut fit as expected. I tried wire brushing off the powder coating but it did not work. If you want to try the die it is a 12mm, 1.75 thread. If you need a nut it is a 12mm, 1.75 thread.

This is a well made shock mount that fits perfectly on my 2001 Ford Ranger Edge.Just drill out the old rivets and mount the new one with the supplied nuts and bolts. It also come with a nut and washer to secure the top of the shockThe price is great too!

Fits 2007-2009 Ford Ranger as well as those years listed. Heavy duty. Easy to install. Hard to drill out old rivets though!!!

Installed these " parts that can't be bought" according to a friend of mine.... Over the weekend on my 01 FORD ranger XLT 4x4. And not only did they install in minutes, (after removing stock mount, way longer than a few minutes. Recommend using hard metal drill bits to drill out existing mounting pins securing existing shock tower base to frame of vehicle), but I am now once again able to do Smokey burn outs all around town!!Awesome product, exact replacement and fitment of original shock mounts on both driver and passenger side in rear.

Had to take sawsall to factory mount due to stripped nut. Got my Dorman Mount early. Installed to day with help from my son-in -law. Done some grinding on factory rivets, got bottom one from inside had to remove back tire, to get grinder to top two, started getting into frame. Stopped grinding. Started drilling, this is basically how I got rivets out. Drilling them out is the best way, in my opinion. They still are not easy and are the main and biggest problem. My Dorman Mount looked just like the factory one that came off and bolted right up. Put tire and shock on. Good to go! Problem solved! Was very pleased with price, fit, quality and delivery of my Dorman Mount. My vehicle is a '93 Ford Ranger XL 2wd 5speed 4cylinder short bed regular cab. Perfect fit.
