My car got a P2006 code (Intake manifold runner control stuck). My scanner suggested getting this part to fix the issue. I had a hard time confirming whether or not this part would fit based on some of the reviews I read. So I just want to let everyone know the part is an exact fit for a 2012 Santa Fe Limited. The CEL did eventually come back on, so this part alone didn’t fix the issue. Most likely I will need to replace the manifold.

This part is not identical to the one that was portrayed in the picture! You can see where it's been glued together all around the sides! And the plastic coupler is too long for my vehicle. I drive a 2011 Hyundai Santa Fe 2.4L. it shows it should fit but it doesn't. Buyer beware!!!!

Daughter's 2012 Kia Sorento had a check engine light. Most of the online resources tell you to replace the entire intake manifold, but that's not necessary unless the flaps don't move freely. This thing is tough to get to. You'll have to remove a few things and unhook some lines to get to it. It's obviously installed on the manifold and the manifold installed on the engine before the engine is installed in the vehicle. Engineers clearly hate mechanics for some reason. Once you get the old one off, be sure and remove the old coupler. Many of these crack and fall apart due to heat and age. My didn't. The new one is a little different and heavier. When you slip it on the shaft, make sure the shaft moves freely. If it doesn't, you probably need to replace the entire intake manifold. Line up the slots on the new motor and basically reverse the removal process. Once I got it all hooked up again and fired up the engine, the light went off immediately and has stayed off. Engine runs better now too. Whole thing took about 2 hours. A pretty good deal compared to the nearly $2K that Kia wanted to fix it.

The picture I attached is the original manufactures part for my 2011 Kia Sorrento 2.4 L. I forgot to take a picture of the new one, but it’s exactly as the part being sold. The part fits perfectly, the only difference is the dial piece on the new one is small, but has a longer housing coupler to make up that length versus the original has a long protruding dial and the coupler is smaller and fits snug inside the engine block. That seems to have no effect. I erased the code and started the engine and everything is fine now. No more P0200A code. Took me about 25 minutes total time.

Had to do an exchange, first item shipped was incorrect part, clearly packaged wrong. Sold through Amazon so exchange process was painless. Second time was the charm, part replaced OEM component perfectly and performs as expected. No more check engine light!🙂
