Any DIY mechanic knows the feeling of missing nuts/bolts or breaking one and having that dread of having to go to Autozone/Home Depot/Etc., and that's if they even have a spare car to take. I seriously do not know how I've gone all these years without a kit like this. They aren't grade 10, so probably don't use them on vital engine/suspension components that undergo a lot of stress, but for most situations, this kit is phenomenal. It even has sizes that you have to special order from the parts stores because they never have them. Looking at you M4/M6/M8!

A very complete selection of the more popular sizes. I have used them in Electronics, automotive, and firearms repair. They do not get mixed up in the caddy when carried about, they remain well separated in their slots.

I thought this was a good starter assortment 799-321 for the home mechanic when you add the Dorman 799-305 JIS and the 799-310 DIN assortment to your order. The Amazon price was much better than buying at your local auto parts or hardware store and you have the bolts you need when you need them.

Excellent quality and so much cheaper to buy in a bulk pack. I chose this option after visiting my local Autozone and discovering they wanted $6 for three metric screws. It's nice to have fasteners available and not always having to run to Lowes/Home Depot.

This pack provides you a great assortment of common fasteners needed for the homeowner and DIY-er. It's convenient to have around and saves you from rooting through a coffee can full of screws and bolts looking for the proper size fastener. I bought this one and the SAE set just to have in my workbench as I'm always needing a fastener for something. The box keeps everything well organized and not having to zip down to the hardware store for one bolt or nut certainly is a time saver.

The fasteners appear to be stated quality. This set has just the sizes I use frequently. The box the fastneners come in is weak and cannot be used as pictured. If you pick up the box to carry it by the handle all the pieces will mix - a pain. So, don't plan on using the container handle. BTW, the pieces were loose in the container when shipped by Amazon. It was not adequate in shipping. It took an hour to get the pieces back in place - there is a label - but, that's when I found that all of the M10 split lock washers were missing. It's not worth going through returns and replace - I just lived with it.
