This is cheap because it's cheap. It fits, but it doesn't "fit". You have to bend the bottom wire almost to 90 degrees to get it to fit. I'm sure this is creating the tension that means the window doesn't operate all that quickly or strongly. But for half the price, it does the job decently enough.

Great Product, nice price, easy to install; note: for 202 Ford Escape, the original installed motor assembly has 3 bolts that hold the assembly in place; this replacement item has 3 screws requiring 6MM nuts which are not included; I suspect Ford made a change to the installation hardware that this replacement is designed to replace.. the nuts are available at Auto parts store- 6MM nuts with a 10MM head. definitely recommend this as a good replacement one to one fit.

Great fit, of course it works, kinda nice thing to have.Be aware the mounting bolts for the motor are replaced with studs. You will need three nuts to fit the studs. Studs are by far easier to mount the motor with. When you use the three nut's, don't freak out when you check to see if you put everything together and used up all your nuts and bolts. You will have three bolts left over. If ya don't remember the bolts were replaced by studs... How can I have extra part's... Ten min later, DOH! 🤪

Works great. As far as car repairs go, pretty quick and easy. The only hitch was my old motor had nut inserts and this had studs... easily fixed with a quick trip to the hardware store to get some M6 flanged locknuts. I actually prefer this design with the studs, it was way easier to line up.

You will need to purchase 3 10mm hex nuts because instead of female hardware on the motor, like the OEM, these come with male poles. Other than that, fit and worked perfectly. Great deal vs taking to dealership, and if you don't know how to do the swap out, it's really simple even for a novice, there are hundreds of videos on youtube detailing step by step instructions.

Perfect replacement/value for OEM on 2007 Ford Escape. It took me an hr plus cleanup due to removal of residual duct tape glue ( use acetone and straight razor ) to hold the window up while ordering part. As stated, you'll need to purchase (3 metric ) M6 x 1.00 nuts and washers ( uses a 10mm socket and extension) due to the fact that the motor assembly comes w 3 studs vs the OEM part having threads in the motor framework.Tips: 1) use razor knife to cut into the adhesive that's used to hold the polyurethane weather cover in place. 2) use zip-tie to hold new wiring pigtail in place to ovoid interference w window movement.

Outstanding product. From visual inspection and initial use, it appears to be made better than the OEM regulator. I would have given it five stars except that the Dorman regulator had three studs on the motor which required me to purchase three fasters (3 6x10mm nuts and 3 washers). If the part would have come with this, I would have given it five stars.Of note, the OEM part had two studs on the rail and three bolt holes on the motor. The Dorman product used five studs and fasters instead of bolts. This actually made it much easier to reposition and install (except that you need three nuts that do not come with the product). My car is a 2005 Ford Escape V6 (3.0), so this part may fit perfectly on other models. Only note I have is that before you begin the installation, make sure you identify if you need additional fasteners.
