When installed my window goes up and down much faster than it did before. The only problem I found is that it does not have one of the brackets needed to brace it to the door. Although it works great with the door panel off I can see some movement. Would benefit greatly from the original bracket being included on the part. It's probably done this way so it will fit more applications.

It works but I had to extend the wires and get different bolts because they are metric not standard

Worked great for a few years then started acting up. Pulled it out and compared it to the original. Dorman fails to drill drain holes like OEM in the motor housing and it filled up with water/moisture causing the permanent magnets to separate from the case and render unit inoperable. Another fun note. In the winter it will stop working when the water in the motor freezes. If you buy make sure to add drain holes.

Motor is smaller dimensions than original , can't use end support on motor so door flex's when window is closed , had to grind drive gear to make fit in guild hole , works good , cheaper than old style

It fit and had the same plug as the previous motor, although the wires were reversed. It wasn't a big deal to change the connections within the plug. The previous motor had a bottom brace in addition to the 3 self tapping bolts holding the motor. So far it works fine without that brace. No way to attach the old brace to this new motor.

I liked it but I have a Dodge Ramcharger and it was more than hard to get in πThe stock 1990 Ramcharger comes with a brace at the bottom to hold the pointy end part in the downward position and with this one you have to simply turn it upwards to get it to catch on the inner gears of the window control arm. This model doesn't come with a metal gasket to hold it in place use your stock one and flip it into position.Wiggle it around until all holes are aligned properlyExtra notes.1. you'll have to grind off the three centerpunch nails that hold the original in place. And remove the three bolts.2. There's a factory cutout with a bolt in it on the top left of the inner door you'll have to bend the metal that it is bolted on upwsrds.Other than that it does help to have two people and a flashlight.

Motor worked flawlessly and was quiet. To install be sure to tape the window in place. After removing the orginal motor, which involved removing the 3 mounting screws and a screw on the bottom, this motor installed in the same place. Just use your original screws (they are self taping) and don't worry about the the bottom screw that the original motor had,it doesn't appear to be needed.
