These shackles that Amazon say fits a 84 c20 are incorrect. Are wider than the leaf spring. Maybe Amazon and Dorman need to also put deminsion of products if your going to list a product. It says it fits a 84, wrong. It does not fit. Shame on me for ordering parts from Amazon. Not the first time I wasted money ordering from them. Back to square 1.

should state that it’s only 1 shackle with hardware. i know picture shows one but still. I purchased product thinking it was the pair cause no one else in the reviews were saying other wise.

Read some reviews that were not that impressive but I know Dorman makes good products. These were used on a 1987 Chevy 1 ton dually and the fit was perfect. No modifications needed in my case. Really brought the old truck back to good shape.

Does NOT fit correctly on my 86 chevy truck.It will bind up with the leaf spring bracket and not allow the shackle to swing past straight up. I had to grind away at the side of the shackle as well as the bracket where it hits to get proper movement.The design of this shackle is too wide at the bracket side compared to the original. It will bolt up but will bind under a load.If you purchase these, bolt the shackle without the spring first to make sure it operates properly or avoid buying this one completely.This problem set me back several hours by the time I had it fixed, I was not happy.
