Transmission line is bent. I can’t use it

The transmission line was perfect in length, pre-bends, and fittings on both ends. Problem is the quick-connect fitting that connects to the transmission oil cooler won't snap or lock on. I ordered both the upper (624-289) and lower (624-288) lines. 624-288 locked-on to both oil coller connections. 624-289 wouldn't lock on to either. Poor quality or simply a bad line that went out. I've purchased Dorman products in the past. This is a 1st.
