The part fit fine a couple test runs with the wiper and it all worked fine. I attempted to put a new wiper on the arm and I picked up the arm and the one mount point for the spring broke. So now it is useless. I will be going to ford to buy a part that works.

This wiper arm is too stiff for a Ford Expedition causing it to hang up on the window. Ultimately the tension spring broke.

I like Dorman products and this was no exception. It was an exact fit replacement for the rear wiper arm on a 2004 Ford Expedition. The original became stiff and the spring did not keep proper tension on it. This installed in minutes.

This wiper arm does not have splines on the inside of the mounting hole like the original does. This limits positive engagement.

The 2017 Expedition Rear Window wiper arm and blame are quite non-standard, even for Fords. It's the only year they used the particular style arm and blade mount and because of this OEM replacements are hard to find and expensive. This arm replaces the factory one perfectly, and, perhaps best, allows you to then use standard J-hook wiper blades instead! Inexpensive, quality part.

I bought this to replace the OEM rear wiper on a 2017 Expedition. Those wiper arms will not accept aftermarket cartridges/ blades, and will only work with a Ford part that is inferior to many of today's aftermarket brands. Although the Ford actuator has splines and this arm does not, it will still go on when it is tightened by the OEM nut. It fits tightly, and has worked as intended. It even gave me more coverage on the glass because it is longer than the OEM arm, and will accept a longer blade. Overall, I am satisfied with the fit and performance of this item.

I replaced the factory arm on my Expedition because it only accepted a blade I could get at the dealership for way too much as compared to the local shops-after visiting every auto parts store in the area they all said the same thing-we don't carry it, cannot get it -sorry.A visit to youTube convinced me to get the Dorman and swap out the original and then I can use ANY J-Type hook wiper blades - much better selection and way better prices. Went to the Bosch Icon blade-works well.Installation of the arm is so easy even a caveman can do it--remove the nut on the shaft, pry off the old arm(pops right off) replace with the Dorman arm, replace the nut. 1 minute tops.
